Humans Perspective
Description: Very Fragrant, Hard & Crunchy, the sizes of the chucks vary, visually inviting for an animal. Maybe cats as well? The product is great, speaking from a humans perspective. My dog has pancreatitis and unfortunately she is turning her nose to this specific product. There is no fault with this specific product within my experience

Best training treat, I’d been looking a long time!
My boy Zeus will do anything for these treats, he loves the beef flavor, they’re like beef jerky but easier to chew than people beef jerky. I can put some in my treat bag and not worry about them getting too hard to break into smaller training rewards for a few days. I was shocked when I first realized this, most treats are like a rock in 2 or 3 days. They don’t have a lot of preservatives or added ingredients that upset his bellly or change his poops and that makes me really happy. I hate watching him struggle with an upset belly outside in the yard. They are really easy to break into smaller pieces with just one hand so I haven’t had to do any prep cutting before I want to do training sessions, which makes it easier to do more impromptu training more often as well. Since they’re so soft I don’t worry if they’re going to chip a tooth either, I’d forgotten about how that was since we’ve been using these for quite a while now. I did order the beef sticks by accident once, they’re good also but I didn’t find them quite as easy to break into the tiny taste bites for training. I ended up cutting them up for the training bites. I definitely recommend the Open Farm beef dehydrated bites. They don’t have any funky smells and are highly digestible with no worries of extra stuff you don’t want to feed your dog.

Favorite treats
My dog loves these. I cut them up and use them mostly for her training sessions. They are soft enough for her to quickly chew and move on with commands fast. They smell like jerky.

Dog's love these! Mine is no exception
Yes they are grain free but before I describe what a wonderful and perfect treat for my dog Vin they are, I would like to admonish the entire pet food industry. Shame on you! You know, because it's documented and scientifically proven, that grain is essential for our pet's heart health. There are a very few choices for food with grain for our pets. These are grain free but shame on you for promoting that selling point! These treats have natural Taurine which promotes heart health. That should be your selling point. My dog Vin has a heart murmur that needs to be surgically remedied and he's scheduled for the surgery. His Cardiology vet recommended grain inclusive food and says it's not only essential for dogs like Vin but all dogs. She went on to share her incredulatity with the pet food makers touting grain free. It's too bad we couldn't get a surgeon generals warning stamped on grain free dog food stating that regular consumption of this product by your pet will result in a shortened life span . Because Vin shouldn't have jerky treats, I've been breaking these into small chunks with a hammer. Just a light tap, too hard and it's powder. He gets a few as treats when we're walking. I also give him Honest Kitchen's Goat Milk cookies which contains oats and barley, essential grains, breaking them into smaller bits half or quarter. He loves them! My neighbors dogs love them too! Please if you read this! Spread the word about grain free. It's the most unknown and incredibly irresponsible act perpetrated by the pet food industry. I'm appalled!

it’s a good product.
The Badland Ranch dog was a good choice for our fur baby. It does have a strong fish smell. We have a mini and we found the chunks a little large so we had to cut them in half.

My Dog’s Favorite Treats—Tasty, Healthy, and Easy to Break!
My dog goes absolutely crazy for these treats! They have a rich, meaty smell that gets his attention right away, and the taste must be amazing because he never hesitates. What I love most is how easy they are to break apart. I use them for training by splitting them into smaller pieces, but they’re also great whole as a high-value reward. The texture is perfect - chewy but firm - so even with just a few remaining teeth, my pup has no trouble chewing them. They’re made with clean, healthy ingredients, and the size is just right for small or large dogs. A little bag goes a long way, especially when broken into training bits. These are a staple in our treat jar!
