RØDE RM3 Microphone Clip

You can tell that this isn't just a cheap Chinese production and is made with great quality by rode. The microphone mount uses a high quality flexible yet strong plastic which firmly holds my short shotgun microphone/ Pencil Microphone. I have no concerns with the product breaking in the future. The leaver for tightening the adjustment arm also has a very neat mechanism that allows the user to pull pop-pin the tightening arm out and rotate the arm without loosening the adjustment and move it out of the way of the microphone; this is a very thought out neat feature by rode.

I searched hard to find Rode RM2 brackets to see if they come with the mounting rings as some reviewers said yes but when I made enquiries to confirm this I was told no from Thomann or I got no answers from Amazon Questions. So I took a chance and bought a couple. I can confirm these do come with the Mounting Rings. The brackets themselves are smaller than I expected. They are made of plastic but they don’t feel flimsy. I bought these for my newly acquired Rode NT2a mics as crowd mics for audio recording worship at church.

This is much more solid than it looks, it appears to be made from a hard plastic but actually seems to be metal. Very sturdy, works really well, loses 1 point for being an additional extra needed to replace the shoddy mount that comes with the microphone

Since I already have an original NT3 holder from about twenty years ago, I could compare this new one. Visually it looks very similar though appears slightly more lightweight in some areas. It does the job, side by side with the old one they behave the same. A little bit expensive for what it is.

I’m using this in a rote NT 1a, it took me about 15 minutes to get the threads to connect and screw in properly, I don’t know if it’s easier on other rode mics but on mine it felt like there was only 1mm of usable thread you could catch to make it attach. But eventually it did catch and screwed tight and hasn’t moved since, looks so much nicer than the bulky spider stand that comes with the NT 1a

Holds my RODE NT1-A Perfectly and doesn't sag at all whilst on a mount arm.

I use a RODE NT USB mic and RODE mic boom, and the plastic bit that attaches to mic to the boom snapped (which is supposedly a very common occurrence). This was a great replacement. The plastic that attaches the mic to the boom arm feels thicker and stronger than the one that came with the mic and subsequently snapped.

Sturdy but expensive, I would imagine it costs pennies to produce, and I'm aware that companies need to make profit but £20.50 is extortionate. Still, I needed it in a hurry and the amzn machine delivered, I just feel a bit violated by the price

Sehr gute Ersatzhalterung passend für FIFINE PC USB Mikrofon K670 Die Halterung ist qulitativ hochwertig und stabil gefertigt. Mitgeliefert wird noch ein Adapter für kleinere Gewinde am Mikrofonständer/arm und eine Rändelmutter zur Befestigung des Mikrofons. Gebraucht habe ich die Halterung für ein FIFINE PC USB Mikrofon K670 (ASIN B07QC5W92G), da das Original sehr schnell kaputt ging. Das FIFINE Mikrofon und diese Halterung von Rode passen sehr gut zueinander. Sie lässt sich problemlos auf das Stativ von FIFINE aufschrauben und das Mikrofon sitzt passend in ihr, muss aber mit der Rändelmutter von FIFINE befestigt werden, da die Mutter von Rode zu eng ist, denn sie ist ja für Mikrofone von Rode gedacht. Insgesamt habe ich so per Zufall ein sehr gutes Ersatzteil bekommen, sogar für ein Fremdprodukt. 5 Sterne.
