So far I've only use one probe in a "Beer-Butt Chicken" and it worked great. I plan to use several probes when I cook a large pork roast in my "Big Easy " cooker. In the past I've had trouble with large, varying thicknesses cuts of meat but this system should take care of that.

I bought this thermometer to replace a much cheaper, non-bluetooth version that I've used for the past few years. This thermometer worked as advertised for one use (the day after it arrived). The app was user friendly, it was easy to connect to my iPhone, and seemed to do a good job monitoring the temp of the pork shoulder I was smoking. However, a little over a month later, I tried to use it a 2nd time but it wouldn't turn on (I tried multiple sets of batteries). Unfortunately, the 30 day Amazon return period had already passed, so I sent Migvela (the seller) an email though the app to see if they would replace the product, but they never responded...

I bought this Thermometer after seeing similar ones in Costco. The price here was much better. Setup is easy the iPhone interface is simple to use. The only thing that I found unnecessary was the low temperature alerts. These are easily altered so that my phone was not alerting me every 10 minutes that my meat was not up to temp. If you cook multiple pieces of meat this this an excellent choice. The first time out I used it to monitor 5 briskets in my smoker.Since the unit is plastic it should not be placed directly on the surface of your BBQ unless you have a utility shelf that does not get heat. In my case I did not so I put a zip tie on the handle to hang the unit on. this provided enough space between the unit and the smoker to keep it safe.

Loved ours so much we bought two more for Christmas gifts. Easy to use and app easy to use as well. Cleaning is a bit difficult because you can’t let the plug fall in the water but not awful.

Overall this works well! Only tested with one probe so far, but it performed flawlessly. Overall readout quality is on par with other middle-of-the-road electronics; not solid, rugged, and beautiful, but not complete junk either. The probes seem well made and the silicone tabs are great for handling.One thing I didn't like was to change from °C to °F I had to connect it to my phone via the app. The instructions showed no way of doing that from the unit itself. It only has one button (power), so I doubt it's possible. They really want you to be app-dependent, as that's the only way to set alarms or temperature unit.

Love itGot a new pellet smokerYou can monitor lots of different meats like turkey and brisket and put one separately inside the smoker to monitor hi and low tempsI read with pellet smoker the fire could go out and/or to watch for actual fire with grease drippings. SoI set my hi low threshold on the thermostat to 300 and 180.Works great. One issue is my red lead reads crazy numbers high numbers

I had one that didn’t link to my phone. Had issues syncing and programming it. This one is Awesome. It syncs to your phone in two seconds. Programming it is so easy. Picked what type of meat and how I wanted it cooked. Another awesome part was all the probes, I cooked 3 T-bones and each one had its own. Loving it so far. Only used it once but the simplicity of it made me write this review.

I love an item that works exactly as promised.No more running out to the grill to check temperatures throughout the cooking process. Now, I can do it with cocktail in hand inside the house.The alarm is certainly alarming. Wow. Loud. It alerts you if you have reached your target temp (if you set one) and also alerts you if you've taken your phone out of range. The range covered all but the farthest reaches of our large house with the grill on the side patio.I tested the probes against a good quality instant read thermometer and they all registered the same temp. So, for accuracy I'll give it high marks.Managed to burn myself on the metal braided lead wire. My stupidity-- not a fault of the probe.
