Apple Smart Folio for iPad Pro 13-inch (M5 and M4) - Black ​​​​​​​

Short Version: Light weight and versatile. My choice after much experimentation. After purchasing and using 5 or 6 different cases from popular manufacturers I’ve returned to the source. I’ll be sticking with the Apple Smart Folio. In terms of build quality, functionality and ease of use it’s the best version of an iPad case out of all the others. I’ll start with, “It just works.” You pop the folio on and it sticks like glue. The exterior is durable and easy to keep clean. The inside is lined with microfiber and won’t scratch your iPad finish like some of the others cases I’ve tried. The magnets are strong and yet the folio is one of the lightest available. Apple has changed the design from the original. There are more magnets in the folio and the iPad, which allows for much greater flexibility in how you use the device. When fully upright the screen is at 87 degrees, almost upright! Great for viewing video and reducing glare from overhead lights. The multiple magnets let you adjust the angle all the way down to 50 degrees. Flip it over and you can move the bottom to two positions, 20 degrees makes for pretty easy typing on the keyboard screen and 10 degrees is what I use when drawing. Protection is moderate. I feel safe plopping on a table or couch and I carry it in the laptop slot in my satchel with out worry. That being said, I wouldn’t throw it into my back pack with my keys and gym sneakers. The magnets hold it closed but there’s no protection on the sides.

This would be the second iPad cover of this design that I've bought. I tried another, less expensive, design and the difference in quality was commensurate with the difference in price. The cheaper one was a constant aggravation.

I have had these apple smart folios before. Amazon declined my post when I used the word to described the folio I received, so I have to re-word my post. Amazon allowed me to return the one I bought. The magnets on the back were nothing like what I purchased previously or the one I bought to replace it.

The Apple Smart Folio for iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) delivers exactly what you'd expect from an Apple accessory: excellent integration, perfect fit, and sleek aesthetics that complement the iPad Pro beautifully. While the build quality and finish are impeccable, the price point is difficult to justify for what is essentially a minimalist protective cover. However, if you value the cohesive Apple design language and seamless integration with your device, this folio serves its purpose well. Overall, it's a quality accessory that does its job without compromise—except for the premium price tag that accompanies Apple's brand premium.

It is elegant, lightwait and sticks to the iPad fantastically. In the past I used the rubberized ones Apple sold with magnetic front piece. I felt they better protected the edges and was worried these would detach. After using it. On this I can say they are 100% sturdy and well -rote red. So much I decided to avoid the keyboard one after getting used to the slim design.

I love the color and ease of use, the slim profile does not add weight or bulk

Great product! I was skeptical whether it's original or not for the price, but I can confirm that it's from Apple. It attaches easily through magnets, which I find very convenient.
