Well constructed thick black plastic. Light and easy to manoeuvre. It is effective as not really seen much insects and the zap is loud. Medium size, price reasonable just don't like the disposal part. It's a tray at the bottom of the unit, you have to twist it and pull down, the grave yard is unpleasant not for the squeamish. Comes with a spare bulb.

After being plagued by those tiny black flies that seem immune to fly spray: I bought this. It seems to work but the flies aren’t drawn to it like a magnet so you have to leave it on for hours. However, it seems to have cleared up the fly problem over the last couple of weeks so it’s been a good buy.

This product is really great it was bought for use in a static holiday caravan. I cannot believe how great it works on unwanted flying pests ! It gives a satisfying zap & goodnight Vienna !!

I have had one continuously running for about 6 months in an semi-empty house that was suffering from fly's due to lots of plants.I have another in the annex.Both doing their job though I wish they would upgrade to UV LED's as the bulbs are the point of failure.

Mosquito ZapperEasy to use mains powered bug zapper.Things to consider- Weight is 690g (excluding power lead), and it has a rotating wire hook (10cm wide with central notch) for hanging- can be used stood on base (though no rubber pads, so easily moved - listing photo has 'anti-slip pads' mention which is incorrect)- its 29cm tall and 17cm wide (bigger than the listing photo)- in line on/off rocker switch in mains cord- power consumption is 12W (though tube bulb is a claimed 15W)- comes with a spare tube- decent plastic grill around bug zapping metal grid- supplied instructions are incomplete, refers to 8 sections but information only for first 5 (and generally poor translation)- basic brush for cleaning the twist off insect collecting base (which has some annoying ridges)Overall - it works well enough, but the poor instructions and incorrect listing information drops it to 3 stars.
