They worked! Nice warm light for my desk lamp.
Like the warm light with the low wattage LEDs. It was a perfect color match to my prior incandescents and a lot cooler. E11 and E12 are only a millimeter difference; these were E12 and fit my table lamp perfectly. Not all lamps do a good job of labeling their sockets -- I got lucky since my measurement of the socket was inconclusive. My table lamp was a 3 way touch lamp but the touch circuit no longer works so I will have to find a dimmer/switch for it.

Finally, post lantern bulbs that don't burn out constantly
We have one of those mid-90s lamp posts in front of our house, that turns on at sunset and off at dawn. The HOA requires it be fully operational, even if it is obviously a bit worse for wear.Regular incandescent bulbs last a couple weeks at most in the thing, as there's a small (but not dangerous) short that our handyman can't correct without replacing the whole unit. Otherwise it works fine. It's been over a month, and none of the 3 bulbs have burned out. No more! In 3 years, that's never happened. Until now there had usually been at least one burned out, and it was annoying to constantly have to keep up with changing the bulbs. These bulbs also look super cool, among the nicest lantern bulbs on the block. Not having to change them out the time is reeeeeally nice!(Just don't look straight at them for more than a split sec, I'm pretty sure they can blind you.)

Brighter than other 40W equivalent lamps. Nice warm color temperature
I had a set of 6 40W equivalent lamps in a chandelier. One burned out very prematurely, so I thought I would get a set of these. The old ones were of the upward firing design with a plastic crystal to make some light shine downwards. These lamps use LED "filaments" to disperse light in all directions. They are MUCH brighter than the old LED lamps.I like the warm color temperature also. Bluish light is not good for you, especially if you expect to get any sleep at night. These lamps have a rich, bright light comparable to the old incandescent bulbs. If you have a dimmer, they should work fine. I can set my dimmer so they are barely on at all. Sometimes there is a little instability at very low settings, so I just set my dimmer a tad higher and it goes away. Great bulbs!

Perfect
I used in my 5-light kitchen chandelier and the 40 watt was perfect. Previously I had 25 watt (comparable), and it was a bit too dim. In my dining room I have a 25 light chandelier with this type of bulb and with a high-volume chandelier you will want just the 25 watt on a dimmer switch (which is what I have.) My previous bulbs were from a different manufacturer and I am disappointed that a few of them did not last as long as I expected, especially for the price. These bulbs are a much better price than I paid previously and hope they are of better quality.

replacing incandescents in a breakfast room fixture
I hesitantly replaced the bulbs in a fixture with 6 candelabra bulbs, I had 6 x 25 W incandescents,Looked for 25W equivalents but none less than 40. But these have worked out fine. The wife who is quite critical about everything said they were brighter but otherwise had no comment which is high praise.I am happy and so far they don't burn out frequently like the incandescents. I hope none fail because where am I going t get one replacement to match. That's my worry.
