I've made model ships before, so not an absolute beginner. I have built the ship up to the point of needing to add the rigging. There are absolutely no instructions given, just a very poorly details set of pictures. Up to this point I have enjoyed making the ship, and all the parts were well cut and fitted pretty well together. I've checked on You Tube for any guides, but nothing there, and all the articles I've found are for larger scale models and not directly applicable. I guess I shall have to make a stretcher on which to build them and then put in place. The product details suggest 15-20 hours, but believe me it takes rather longer. Marmoli - get your act together.

It's possible to make a nice boat with this kit. The instructions however are poor. The diagrams are handdrawn sketches, and not very good ones to be honest. In places the text is so badly translated, it makes no sense at all. The best guide was usually the picture on the box. Also, my box didn't have enough of many of the components, so I had to borrow from other kits or use spare bits of wood. I still enjoyed making it, but mamoli seemed to want to make the task of construction as difficult as possible. It's a shame, as this could be a good kit for beginners, but not unless mamoli create decent instructions and put enough material in the box.

This was my first wooden ship kit having done many plastic model planes and tanks. The instructions are simply terrible. They are poorly translated and offer no guidance. The drawings are very basic and miss detail. There is a lot of reworking of parts needed to make them fit. When you come to cut the dowels to make the masts there are no dimensions. For the rigging you get a reel of cotton and are expected to decipher the poor drawing and work out how to fix it all together. I would not recommend this brand of models. I have emailed the company without reply. This was a gift so I've had to stay positive so not to upset my partner but it really is shocking.

Wie hier bereits geschrieben wurde, an sich ist das Modell sehr gut, allerdings ist Beschreibung/Anleitung extrem dürftig und ohne Vorkenntnisse definitiv nicht unter 10h realisierbar und besteht leider fast nur aus mäßig hilfreichen Bildern. Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aber man sollte schon improvisieren können.

Ho atteso con molta impazienza questo prodotto che … purtroppo tuttavia è arrivato senza colle e senza colori … Delusione, non mi è rimasto altro che renderlo
