This mount works well on most backpacks. Love it while hiking and having ready for wildlife and landscape photos.

I have recently picked up a handful of Ulanzi products for my cameras. The F38 mounts they sell all seem to be really good quality and secure the camera wonderfully when used properly. The only little gripe I have with this particular model is that the portion that mounts to the backpack strap is a little tight for the Ulanzi BP10 backpack that I bought it for. I was able to get it to work, but it seems a little strained...I will see how it holds up over time. All in all, I would still recommend this for use with the vast majority of camera backpacks.

This wiggled and wobbled and didn't keep the camera very snug. It also didn't fit my shoulder straps for my camera bag.

The media could not be loaded. I ordered the ULANZI F38 Camera Backpack Quick release Clip V2 to see how well it worked opposed to my harness type camera holder. I admit, I am pretty impressed with how easy it was to attach to my backpack which I usually carry anyways, as well as the quality and performance of the clip. The quick release clip makes it easy to grab the camera, take a couple of photos, and return it to the clip (see short video). The backpack clip is extremely secure, and provides great peace of mind when carrying my camera with the 600 mm long lens. My only minor issue is that after a full day of birding, the big camera movement back and forth while walking irritated my skin, although I was wearing a tee shirt. I could have used some extra padding behind the camera to alleviate that. However, this does not take away from the overall functionality and durability of the ULANZI F38 Camera Backpack Quick release Clip V2. I believe a lighter mirrorless camera or camera with a smaller lens will work wonderfully without any adjustment.I highly recommend it for any photographer or birding enthusiast looking for a reliable and secure way to carry their gear. Five stars all the way!

I'm impressed with how easy this was to attach and adjust when putting it on my backpack, even with its thick, padded straps. The two cables really grip, and I haven't had any issues with my camera slipping down the straps. The attachment mechanism of camera to clamp is also pretty smooth, and snaps on with a satisfying click. And, if you're not going to use your camera for a while, there's a lock function that ensures that it doesn't detach accidentally. It's a bit costly, but it's an easy thumbs up from me.

I've previously used Peak Design's backpack clip but these with the F38 plate provide greater comfort and versatility. While these obviously took some inspirations from PD, the execution is great, with the backpack clip portion being compact without sharp edges.The plate locks in securely and there's some design to reduce vibration as well.
