I used this metal stencil for a wood burning project and I was very pleased with the results. Mastery depends on the skill of the person but with metal stencils it makes even a learner feel like a pro.

I have purchased almost all of Aleks Melnyk's Pyrography Celtic Pattern stencils and this has been the only one that I would consider to be below the usual standard. Lovely designs, and very precisely cut. However, the steel is noticeably lighter and far more flimsy than any of the others I have bought. The stencil arrived inadequately packaged and, although in one piece, was bent and deformed to the point where it is virtually unuseable, hence the 3-star rating! Not a happy customer on this occasion!

Je me lance dans la pyrogravure sur bois, et les gabarits de Aleks Melnyk sont vraiment parfaits. Ils sont en métal et ne craignent rien avec le chaud (je grave à 450°C). Ce gabarit avec les symboles celtiques est mon préféré. La finesse du métal adhère très bien au support et permet de bien limiter la zone à graver sans bavure. Ici pour exemple, croix celtique sur rondelle de bouleau. Création du 28 novembre 2020. J'ai commandé d'autres gabarits de Aleks Melnyk, j'en suis ravie, et je continue d'agrandir ma collection. Les prix sont très raisonnables.

Would have likef the stencil to be slightly thicker. However found the stencil to be precise and clear

Lo stencil presenta molti disegni e il tratto che ne viene fuori è molto preciso. Occorre un po' di pratica per evitare di sbavare, sopratutto con gli inchiostri. La lamina è sottile e occorre prestare attenzione a come/dove la si ripone perchè potrebbe piegarsi. Tutto sommato è un oggetto utile e pratico.
