I bought this machine in summer 2022 as our icemaker compartment in the fridge can't keep up with our ice usage. Had it almost 18mths & it has worked it's little heart out. I switch it on while I am doing other things in the house, empty the little basket of ice to a freezer bag & store for later use. Doing this 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of hours at a time & we have all the ice we need. Sometimes we just switch it on & use the ice straight away. It works brilliantly, looks nice on the side & although it makes a little noise it is so worth it. We had an issue with it last week when all the lights flashed & it stopped making ice. I emailed Northclan, expecting to be told how to do a reset or something, but no, they replied almost immediately & said they would send out a replacement machine. Couldn't ask for better, nicer service. Highly recommend the machine & the company.

Arrived very well packaged,removed from the box and read the instructions which said let the machine stand for 24 hours,to let the refrigerant settle. Washed out the unit first when we were ready to make some ice,and loaded the water to the level line,closed the lid and with one easy button press set it in action.Went to do other things and came back to a tray of ice "cubes" which only used half of the water so emptied out the tray and set it in action again ,we ended up with quite a few ice "cubes".Very quiet and efficient, seems to be well made,only time will tell but if the initial impression is anything to go by it will be a good machine.

We used this ice maker with no issues for just over a year. Our whole family absolutely loves the texture of the ice, and using it is straightforward. Unfortunately it stopped making ice, but the sellers (Airwell Hiroyal) were incredibly helpful. They offered suggestions for fixing it at home (which I appreciated because I hate just throwing away an appliance that could easily be fixed), but when that was not successful, they honoured the warranty and sent me a new machine. Oddly, the second one stopped working within a few weeks, and they immediately sent me another brand-new replacement, which has been working perfectly for weeks.

Purchased this ice machine a few weeks ago and have used regularly since. It's so convenient to be able to just click a button and leave it to make the ice. It shuts off automatically when the ice tray is full which is helpful. The little scoop that comes with it makes it easy to remove the ice and also the basket can be removed when full so overall very happy

Suddenly stopped working after 18 months

suprised at how well this worked. looks cool, comes with instrucions. easy to use... and it produces ice without fuss. happy was a good choice vs an abundance of similar machines

Arrived and plugged it in. Waited the requisite amount of time for all the coolant to settle, filled it up and pressed go… and go it did. The first ice cubes came out about 10 minutes later and it just kept on going. I think I put in 1.5l of water and it made a surprising amount of ice. Seems to work really well. Used it a couple of times and no complaints.I would recommend.

It works just fine but I knocked off 2 stars for misleading advertising . Seller claims it makes 28lb in 24 . I haven’t tried and won’t try because the limitation is that you need to empty the tray every 1-2 hours so it is only functional under supervision . Once the tray fills it’s stops producing until you empty it .Another flaw is that you would think it would preserve the ice made until you collect it well that is not quite the case. The compartment where the ice collects is not cooled but is cooled by the ice produced so the first 2 batches will be sacrificed to cool and maintain the latter batches .

Only bad thing is it gives off a lot of heat over love the ice and it’s very cost effective

La fábrica hielo es muy buena pero aquí en un clima cálido que es Mérida Yucatán que ronda entre los 42 43 grados centígrados empieza a generar hielo bueno al partir del sexto séptimo ciclo los hielos que generan antes son muy delgados se derriten muy rápido después de los ciclos mencionados el hielo sale grueso durable lo recomiendo

Los hielos salen rápido, aunque son pequeñitos pero funciona bien.

Quoi qu'un peu bruyante, comme toutes les machines du genre, elle fonctionne vraiment parfaitement. En mois de 7 mn les premiers glaçons arrivent ... (petits) et les suivants (plus gros) se succèdent toutes les 7 mn suivantes. En complétant votre achat avec un petit récipient à glaçons isotherme, vous ne manquerez plus jamais de glaçons l'été !
