Reliable, and stays charged for much longer than I thought. Lights candles easily, as well as my outdoor propane grill.

I had no idea something like this existed, received the package and charged them up. It lives on my outdoor grill and is a great accessory to have, the battery life is really nice and long also taking into account that it is exposed to cold temps (in the garage when I store the grill). Very easy to use and also safe as there is no flame to worry about, also no longer have to worry about heavy winds! So good I bought another pair for my mother to use at home.

They took great care to ensure that you can't tell that the charger is the old interior micro USB and not USB-C. Granted, it's not too big of a deal, especially since it comes with the (short) two required cables, but worth mentioning. Now, performance. It lights a candle quite well. It can light a piece of cardboard in a fireplace to start a camp or stove fire. I don't know how well it would work on a BBQ but I imagine with it and lighter fluid, you shouldn't have any problems. When you activate the button, you can see the spark between the poles at the top. Don't put your fingers in these. Instead, place your candle wick, or piece of paper if you're lighting a fire, and press the button. Voila!! Your item ignites and you get a nice candid, some wonderful smelling incense, or a nice beach fire.

Worked very well in lighting candles etc. Safer than matches.
