Excellent build quality as you’d expect from Smallrig. Smaller than I expected and will be great to throw into my camera bag. A little too tight for my liking but easy to loosen a fraction. A few reviews here say it comes in a soft pouch and a hard case. Neither is stated in the description. Mine just came in a soft pouch so assume they’ve changed it slightly just in case anyone is bothered about that. As a few have said it’s a shame there’s not a slightly narrower flat head. This one is perfect for tripod plates but would be handy to have a smaller one for general use. Great little product.

Terrific bit of kit - well made and going to be very useful in my camera bag. It's smaller than I expected, but that's a positive thing. It also came with a little soft pouch which is a nice touch. I can now ditch those loose Allen keys, and the pennies that I use to tighten slotted screws and use this instead.

Within the last year, I have moved from "point-and-shoot" cameras to micro-four-thirds, and whilst I have a Swiss Army Penknife, I wanted a multi-tool that I could travel with without any grey area legal issues. This SMALLRIG camera tool is perfect for my needs. It came in a sturdy cardboard box, protected by paper equivalent to bubble wrap, meaning no plastic. The tool comes in a handy velvet drawstring bag to keep it safe from scratching any gear in my camera bag. The tool is comfortable to use, and each tool is nice and stiff when used, with no floppy hinges. I mainly use it for the flathead screwdriver for removing Acra plates etc., but I am sure the other tools will come in handy. I was lucky to get this on a discount deal of just £16.72, but I think I would happily pay the full price, which at the time of review in early December 2024, is just £22.90.

Very good. One star less as it was incredibly stiff when I got it, but nothing that cannot be adjusted. Very handy when you need to do anything to your camera. Good value for the build quality and small enough to slide in your pocket.

Standard tool that I can’t imagine going on a shoot without. Would buy several if needed.

This SMALLRIG Folding Tool Set is incredibly well thought out and genuinely useful. As someone who constantly tweaks rigs, tightens screws, or makes small adjustments on the go, this has quickly become a must-have in my kit. A great piece of kit for rigging camera gear. It has a large flat screwdriver blade which is great for fitting tripod plates, and various allen wrench sizes, ideal for adding kit to camera cages. Nice and compact, but not so small that its fiddly to use. I have large hands but I find this easy to use. Highly recommended.

J'ai acheté ce multitool il y a quelques mois, et depuis il ne quitte plus ma poche. L'outil est fourni dans une petite sacoche souple, elle même dans une autre rigide, il ne s’abîmera pas dans votre poche. Cet instrument rassemble sept outils en un : un tournevis cruciforme, un plat remplaçant les traditionnelles pièces de 5 centimes, un autre tournevis "en étoile" (T25), et trois clés Allen de diamètres 2.5, 3/16, 4 et 3. De plus, des pas de vis de toutes les tailles sont présents sur le côté de l'outil, ce qui est pratique pour stocker les vis lors de l'assemblage du rig. La surface de l'outil n'est pas lisse, mais striée, ce qui lui permet de ne pas glisser des mains. Ces stries associées à sa taille permettent au multitool d'être bien plus agréable à utiliser q'une clé Allen standard, ou qu'une pièce de monnaie dans le cas de vis de trépied. De plus, des vis sont présentes de chaque côté de l'outil, qui permettent d'augmenté la friction des différents tournevis. Enfin, une fente permet le passage d'un fil, qui pourra servir par exemple à l'accrocher à une cage de caméra. C'est vraiment un achat que je conseille si vous faites de la photo ou de la vidéo de manière régulière, au moins pour ne plus avoir à chercher partout une pièce pour votre plaque de trépied.
