It is working flawlessly
I am a critical customer, not easy to please, so 5 stars from me are genuine 5 stars. The splitter is doing its job even at higher temperatures (42 deg Celsius at its surface - I forgot to cover my windows during a scorching day), so quite happy with this little thing. It looks good, it keeps connections, hence I think is a good investment.

Handy gadget as networking becomes ubiquitous
Having recently re-wired my house including Cat 6 cable and come to realisation not put enough network points in !So looking at options for connecting more devices.Easy to setup. Literally plug and play. Basically a small gigabit switch.Only done limited tests but used on two laptops. One being a work laptop with VPN which uses a lot of bandwidth. Second one being personal one and using for general browsing and streaming. No noticeable issues with lag or slowness. My only reservation is the need for power for the unit. It can be powered just from laptop/adapter USB port but adds un-necessary cabling. Personally I'd try to look around for PoE version but regardless it does the job for a very good price.

Excellent Job
Had an issue in garden room with Sky Q. Needed an extra LAN port for one of their extenders. This worked a treat!

Stopped working after one day.
Initially it was fine. Just plug and play and I had a PC and NAS connected up and working on the network. After one day it stopped working, with no power light on the splitter or the RJ45s. Tried swapping with another lead but it remained dead. Fortunately Amazon to the rescue and was refunded the same day. Have ordered another one from a different supplier.

Really useful - makes one ethernet port into three
Why is this is useful, is that it's a simple device which simultaneously making one gigabit ethernet port into three gigabit ethernet ports from one small box. A single RJ45 port on the input end, along with one of the output ethernet ports, and a single DC5V USB-C port to power the device. On the other end, it has has two output RJ45 ports; thus making three ethernet outputs ports for connecting three devices concurrently. So splitting the data connection equally, all three devices can connect to the network simultaneously over the same connection. As this is ethernet, speeds should mostly be the same when in use if not in heavy bandwidth usage, as they would be if connected directly individually, as ethernet switches are designed to do that with the data packets. It basically means you don't have to repeatedly unplug one device, but can have all three connected and able to use the network connection all the time. Also useful because you don't have to use more than one port on your router to use three devices via wired connections to the same location. It's convenient when you have a single cable run and need to connect three devices in the same place. For example, having an ethernet wall socket near a TV, using this to split the signal into three, thus one ethernet cable can go into a smart TV, another into a NAS, with yet another going into my router extender, all in the same physical location.Another popular usage, is when you have more than one computer on the same table, as you can simply use this, running a wired connection into all of them at the same time, just having one cable on the input going into your router, and making for a tidy and much more simple area.Good affordable device, coming with a 1m USB-C power cable, being made of metal making it solid, and even all four RJ45 ports having network lights (green and amber) allowing you to know what's working at a time.
