This rubber base paint is tremendous! One note is open and mix only on the day your going to use it as once the air get's to it the next day it will be very hard and unable to use. I did take all the precautions to seal the can tight and place it into a ziplock bag, but the nect day it was harden and I lost half the can volume! Really good stuff, but I do wish we could thin it out with somthing without changing it's great composition! I had to buy more after lesson...

Product works well. My only grievance is that the cans are about 2 inches short of the top full. So you're really getting about 28 oz. Really.....alll the packaging, shipping, why not fill the suckers up? They come in metal cans then in sealed plastic tubs, then box packaged and shipped. FILL EM UP! some folks have complained about the consistency. I found it to be just like others. maybe those complaints thought they had the paste and really had the liquid. I use this product for applying to the back of my household rugs that have lost their rubber backing. Rugs are pricey and i have a few favorites (tie dye) that I'll never find again. Once they lose the rubber backing, they are dangerous on ceramic tiles. I've used the Gorilla Glue liquid sealer and the Flex seal liquid sealer. This product works just as well, machine washable and I believe will last for years. Easy to apply. On a nice warm day outside on a old table, I pour a bunch on and use a flat plastic scraper to apply a thin to medium coat. wear thin gloves, wipe tools with brown paper towel, use a spatula to get everything out of the can. leave it outside to dry for a day or so. The best durable finish I've had yet on my rugs. I haven't washed the rugs where I've used this product because I've just applied and dried it, but appears to be thoroughly attached. Even with the cans being short and having to pay delivery despite the Amazon ad saying delivery should be free with my $40 some dollar order, this is still more economical than the two leading brands. Can arrived only about half full - VERY thick - cannot be poured. Once open, even with a really good seal, the top 1/8 to 1/4" hardens and is lost. It was not what I expected. I found it difficult to use. If you have a single job and can spread it all on at once - you might get better results?

I will say this stuff works good to coat stuff like foundations or anything you want a thin film of silicone. The only problem I had was the cans come only half full of product but it does show on the can it is sold by weight so I guess that is why. Kind of pricey but good product.

I ordered two of these cans of liquid rubber and the first one I opened was only half full. The can is an actuall quart paint can, so I assume that the can should be full. It said 35 ounces. Now I'm thinking they are telling you how much is in the can by weight in ounces, not by liquid ounces. Anyway, the second can I opened to finish the job was dried solid. The can was closed and was in a plastic container that was sealed, so I guess it had enough of a leak that it dried out. Sent it back to Amazon and they sent me a new one. This one was only half full too, so yeah, they are selling it by the weight. It went on well and dried well. I just hope it seals the leak. We will see!

I highly recommend this product for sealing small leaks on aluminum awning.

I bought this a couple of years ago to try on a wooden fountain that was no longer holding water. I literally ripped out the plastic liner that didn't seem to be working and painted a couple of coats of this product on the inside. I did it again this year and I even noticed I could see light through the side of the bigger basin but the fountain is working fine again after another couple of coats on the inside of the basins. It has been working again for over a month and still not leaking. I used the same container which was opened a year before and it still works fine. I hope this product stays available because I will probably need to get some more next year.
