I've only used this one a handful of times as I bought one of the full enclosed versions at the same time I bought this one and ended up favoring that one. Overall it mirrors the same quality as the rest of these filter wrenches and I don't think you can go wrong. As long as you have room to fit the bulkier sides into the area with the filter you'll be in good shape. My Peterbilts at work have the filter housing right next to the firewall where the wiring harness runs to. This makes this style a lot harder to use than the skinnier enclosed versions. Overall it's a decent price for a good quality tool. I used this to replace my old filter wrench which a coworker managed to bend on a severely overtightened filter.

Its perfect. It is pretty thick, so it does not break the tabs on the locking nut of the fuel filter. Its small enough to fit in where it could sometimes be tight spaces. I love this product.It is mainly for fuel water seperators. I absolutely recommend buying.

We always have a shortage when working on our PLS’s and when I saw this I figured I’d order it and give it a go. So far so good, I’m pretty sure one our mechanics has made it his favorite tool. I hardly see him using anything else now days. Which is awesome because now scheduled maintenance is happening on a much better time line.
