Perfect!
Fits my Vitamix perfectly and allows me to have a separate container just for making flours and spices. I found it worked best when I used at least 2 cups of dry grains to make flour.

In love with this!
I'd been using a small spice grinder for grinding almonds and it just wasn't working well, but I didn't want to tax my beloved Vitamix container with anything too dense and hard. The first time I used this grains container I was blown away by the strength of it! A quick whir and you have almond meal. I'm looking forward to exploring all the uses.

It works with wet products fine, haven't tried dry at this time.

Easy to grind grains
I purchased the Vitamin Dry Grains Container specifically for grinding grains for bread making and baking. The Vitamin is easy to use, cleaning the container is so simple and the fresh grains for baking is making delicious and healthier breads. I would highly recommend Vitamix products.

Ok option for those of us who can't/won't pay for the brand-name original dry container
I can't compare it to a Vitamix dry container, and wasn't about to shell out for one of those so got this off-brand substitute. It works ok, and I can get nuts ground to course flour. They still sort of sink to bottom, though, as they do with the regular container, and there always seem to be a few bigger chunks.
