Perfect kit for beginners
I always wanted to buy a raspberry pi but never got the chance as I needed to buy all of the accessories but then I found this kit and it is perfect. It has everything you need if you just want to run a Linux OS (I’m running Ubuntu). It does come with Rasp Pi OS pre installed. The quality is pretty solid, the case is metal. Everything works perfectly fine and the built was straightforward but if need be you can look up a quick YouTube video on how to install the cooling fan. I hope they provide a link on how to set up this kit to make it more easier as the instructions in the manual aren’t that clear unless you have built PC’s already.

Easy to Setup, Fast and Great Build Quality
I bought the Rasptek kit mainly because the components were good quality such as the SanDisk SD card and because it had that sturdy metal case unlike the Canakit one which uses a cheap plastic case. It took me about 30 minutes to have this Pi 5 kit setup and browsing the web which was amazing compared to my experience with the Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano which took about 4-5 days due to being so User unfriendly. You can see from the image above the Rasptek Pi 5 kit sitting on top of the Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano. Although the Nvidia is more powerful mainly due to the GPU... It is also 3-4 times the size. I also had to 3D print a case and buy an NVMe drive for the Nvidia Jetson .It seems that although the Pi 5 is less powerful then the Nvidia Jetson, general computing tasks like web browsing are much smoother on the Pi 5. Also, the Jetson had trouble playing different video formats. So unless you specifically need to do Computer Vision or Language Processing tasks that involve machine learning, just stick with the Raspberry Pi 5 Kit if you are doing things like emulation, or more simple robotics.Overall, I definitely recommend the Rasptek Pi 5 kit because the price is good, it has a sturdy metal case unlike the other kits, the components are of good quality and it just works out of the box unlike the Nvidia Jetson.

You can't get to the power button with the case on.
There is a hole on the case for the power button but it sits too deep inside the case to actually push it. That doesn't make sense.

Excellent Starter Kit!
I purchased this kit to replace and upgrade my Raspberry Pi 3 unit. I need the extra ram and CPU power to emulate various retro games. I purchased this kit because it came with everything I needed to get going. The quality of the case is great. I downloaded RetroPi to the sd card and I was ready to go. Since this kit came with everything, it was cheaper to buy this than to buy other parts separately. Runs much faster than my Raspberry Pi 3 system. Just like other units, very easy to setup. The fan keeps it cool and runs very quietly. The unit is also light enough to mount behind my TV using double sided 3M tape.

Quick and Easy to setup!
I used Raspberry Pis before so I kind of knew what to expect when it came to setup and I'm surprised at how quick and simple it was to get setup. The Activer Cooling fan was my main concern due to me worrying I would mess up the setup and end up snapping the Pi in half but thankfully, even my clumsy hands were able to pop it in without so much as a scratch to the board. The case is well made and sturdy with my only problem being my inability to put the screws in properly at first but that's just due to me not having a screwdriver that can hold screws via magnetization but once you get them screwed in all the way, you're practically set.The Pre-Flashed SD card was also a good time saver. When it comes to Raspberry Pis, you need to flash an SD card with the OS you want and that might make some people nervous (Which, even if the SD card wasn't pre-flashed, is still a simple task thanks to the Raspberry Pi Foundation having a good and easy to use SD card Imager), but thanks to this starter kit, you just put the SD card in the Pi and you're good to go.Would highly recommend as a starter kit to people who are looking to get started with them.

iRasptek Raspberry Pi 5 RAM 8GB / 128GB - Great RPI kit but cooling could be better
The media could not be loaded. This is my second RPI kit and I took it because I really liked everything about RaspberryPi’s.Initially when I got the first one I thought to use it for iSpy but instead it became a monitoring tool which I loaded with a bunch of other dockers so now I needed one that would be a dedicated iSpy server. For some weird reason I was unable to set the iSpy docker version, therefore this one will be natively installed directly on OS level.Needless to talk about raspberryPi itself, possibilities are endless. One thing I want to point out though, even if you install Ubuntu which looks exactly the same as on non-ARM CPUs , keep in mind that ARM architecture has some small limitations and some stuff won’t work. My biggest struggle was the XRDP server from TV (Tizen) Smart TV. While their “Knox Remote PC” works perfectly to connect with any other Ubuntu, for some reason it just refuses to work with ARM based version claiming that the remote computer does not support server authentication. Another example might be some docker images that are not built for ARM. However these are really outliers as most things work amazing.Let’s go through some basics:KIT CONTENT* Raspberry Pi board with 8 gigs of RAM* Sandisk 128 GB SD card with pre installed Raspbian (RaspberryPi OS)* 2 x HDMI cables* 27W power supply* Aluminum casing and* Active cooler* SD card USB adapterSETUPIf you decide to give Raspbian a try to pre installed Raspbian, all you need to do is put the card in Pi and boot it up. Rest of the setup process is trivial and you’re all set in less than 5 minutes. I tried it out, I liked the simplicity of Raspbian but I leaked to go with good ol’ Ubuntu. To get Ubuntu up & running, you need to download “Raspberry Pi Imager” (there are versions for Win, Linux and Mac) and when asked to choose OS, go to the “Other general-purpose OS” section where you’ll find Ubuntu desktop and server versions. Once the SD card is in Pi, rest is straightforward. I do initial setup to configure SSH, XRDP, docker and docker-compose; then the rest is more docker images starting with Portainer. As I implied earlier, this RPI will be a dedicated iSpy server since this itself can be CPU demanding. iSpy setup was super easy because the script is already provided on the official iSpy download page. You just run two commands and you should be good. After AgentDVR is started as a service, you can access it via browser by typing in RPI IP address and port 8090. Worked like a charm, but the process is constant 4-5% in idle state. This causes heating problems, especially if you open the browser on RPI itself (better use another computer and access RPI as a server), so going forward I’ll focus on kit and heating.Aluminum caseWhen I saw that this kit contains an aluminum case with an active fan, I was excited as I was expecting stellar cooling results, however I have to say I was disappointed. The aluminum case is made of very thin aluminum (not an issue) and is definitely better built than my older RPI kit which came with plastic casing. Since I’ve got passive heavy duty aluminum case I was able to do side-by side comparison and this is going to me focus now:On my old RPI I noticed that the temperature is in the 40-45 C range. However on this Pi I’m reading 55-60 plus not to mention when 55 is breached, fan kicks in and that’s noisy. Here, I thought perhaps my older Pi with also older Ubuntu version 23.10 has less load than the new one which is running latest 24.04 So I decided to swap SD cards - it’s exactly the same hardware, right? And before you knew it everything was up&running only on different iP address since I added MAC addresses on my router to static assignments. This test couldn't be better than it is because there is no doubt that the setup is not the same. With that said, only difference is casingHere is results:* (this kit) aluminum case with active cooler: 57C (going all the way up to 67 C)* passive aluminum case 46 C spiked to 52 rangeConclusion: while we all know that RPI is a 5 star product, I’d say kits like this are great for non-demanding needs, perhaps learning, browsing, watching videos. However, as soon as you want to load it with experimental stuff (with constant CPU load), you need to think about heat. For such use cases I recommend either heavy duty passive cases (they are cheap, my was like 19$ - nothing fancy) or premium active coolers. Don’t get me wrong, RPI is built to withstand these temperatures and work 24/7 but if you constantly keep it very hot of course lifespan will shorten so why not protect it. Therefore this kit is great, I have no complaints for this particular kit (same applies to other similar kits) but those cases are just average. I’d expect a bit more for 249.99$ (at a time of writing) and this is only a reason for 4 stars.Final verdict: 4 stars

It is powerfull! The new sd card reader is also Fast!
The media could not be loaded. That little computer runs flawlessly , it has the guts to run any distribution of linux and execute fast with the included sandisc sd card.It is my first raspberry pi after years of procrastination and i am staggered by the amount of project possible with it due to its size . It is perfect for lerning without lagginess!
