Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased the camera to check on my puppy while I was at work . At the advertised price point, this camera goes above and beyond its value. It has a very easy setup and the phone application is simple and works well. The picture quality met my expectations and it even provides sound and night vision.

This is my third MyQ device (the other two are in my garages) and this one works like a charm. Easy to set up which is a plus. I now have it in my basement to watch for water issues and, given the darkness down there, it works very well. For a small price, I've added a big amount of security and comfort.

Really good video pixels a little bit and you have to set you're motion sensors and try not to know the difference between an animal and a human after you get that done they are excellent

Perfect to see what’s going on in my house when we are gone.We can even talk to our cats!

This camera and app need a lot more features especially to pay a monthly fee. You’re not able to snooze, so when someone is in the room or area you get a notification every time they move if you have person detection on. Otherwise you turn it off and won’t know if another person is detected.The volume works on one of our apps but not the other. So not able to talk in the camera. The volume is not adjustable and pretty low for the 1 device we can get it to work.Quality of picture is okay, not impressive against other cameras available.Getting to the settings or options for the camera is time consuming, takes a good try multiple times to click on where need to go.After a recent update, the Amazon key promotion keeps popping up every time I get into the app, it’s extremely annoying. I will trash both the camera and garage if the app keeps asking me to sign up for another product/service.My husbands app doesn’t work half of the time, so we I usually have to close the garage door.Overall it’s only worth the $30 paid, otherwise I would return.

Good value, easy installation

Initially worked well. After about 2 months it started switching from night vision to standard randomly. You will hear a clicking sound as it goes back and forth. If I'm in the room and it is bothering me, I just switch nightvision from automatic to never on.

Great picture quality. Excellent field of view. There is no way to turn off camera if you don't want constant alerts when you are home.
