Brooks Men’s Ghost 16 Neutral Running Shoe

For those of us with big Sasquatch feet it's nice to have a athletic shoe that not only has ample room for my stompers, it also comes in more colors than just the plain old black and white I normally have to choose from. My shoe size is Men's 14 Wide, so when I found this set that looked nice and had good reviews I was ecstatic. The pros. The weave on the inside upper part of the shoe is very strong. I have a bad habit of pointing my toes upward when I run or do cardio, and a lot of my other shoes have had holes rubbed through the top, but I've been working out several times a week in these and haven't noticed any tearing yet. The color lining that goes on the side of the shoes has a block that goes in front of the toes which helps if you need to nudge stuff out of the way with your shoes and it looks cool too. The traction on the bottom is great for gym shoes, it's not rough enough to tear up any surfaces but it has enough dips and patterns to where I've had no issues with slipping on wooden or concrete floors in exercise classes like zumba, fitness boot camp, or HITT. Cons. The part that has the toe has seemed to fade a little bit more than the rest of it, but it's not bad or noticeable enough to warrant me getting a new pair yet. The base is also flared around the entire shoe so it is going to give your feet a bigger profile and you'll have to be careful not to scrape the sides if you put your feet in pedals or are using step boxes when exercising. Conclusion. Big feet can finally have some fun choices in footwear, and with it having color options to choose from, being pretty good material quality, and being comfortable to wear I would say I'm very happy with this purchase and I'll be heading right back here when it's time to get another pair this coming summer.

I run almost every day, sometimes up to 10K, and they’ve stayed comfortable and supportive the entire time. At around 190 lbs, the cushioning feels right, supportive without being too soft or mushy, even on longer runs. What surprised me most is how well they’ve held up compared to more expensive brands I’ve worn. The soles and heel still look good considering the mileage, and since this pair is used indoors, they’ve stayed pretty clean. Fit is exactly what I expect from Brooks: enough room in the toe box without feeling loose, and they stay secure while running. I’ve tried other brands, but I keep coming back to Brooks because they feel good, last longer, and stay consistent. I have multiple pairs in different colors, and they’ve all been reliable.

These are a great safe investment for runners or walkers. The run very true to size and have a nice solid thick sole that will hold up for years. They have an easy comfort, and can be so versatile for different activities. They have a nice flexible feel while also being sturdy.

Bought these for an upcoming trip to Disney and can already tell that my feet will be taken care of. Padded just enough without overdoing it and causing instability. Very comfortable and supportive while also light and breathable. I'm hopeful that the consecutive days of 25K+ steps won't be as punishing as they have been in the past.

I have always been a fan of Brooks. I have probably bought 10 pairs over the years. I've had this shoe for about 4 months now and wear it about 4-5x a week for work, all day, and then run in it about once week. (I'm not a "runner" but I do run as part of an exercise routine.) It has held up well so far with no obvious issues. To be honest, it still feels like a new shoe 4 months later. I typically replace shoes like this about about once/year as that seems to be when they start looking tired and worn and the support starts to break down. So far, this one is on that trajectory with no concerns on my end.

Awesome shoes that saved me from lower back pain, i love them for everyday use at work. These are comfortable in the gym for running and lifting.
