A Blast From My Fluffernutter Sanmich Past!!!
Oh BOY!!! I was shopping for another food product and this popped up under recommendations....and I actually looked twice to make sure I was REALLY seeing this product!! My sister and I grew up <in Connecticut> on Fluffernutter Sandwiches. Every weekend <and ONLY on the weekend!!> for lunch, our Mom would slab on Skippy's Creamy Peanut Butter and then glob on Fluff on the other piece of bread...and my sister and I gobbled them up!! It was the bestest, most yummiest sandwich on earth! At least we thought so!! From out of nowhere about 6 months ago - I got a craving for a Fluffernuttter Samich, so after describing it to my husband <he's from California and had never heard of it before> he tried to surprise me by purchasing Kraft Marshamallow Cream. I said "It can't be all bad...I'll give it a try.". Well...if any of you Fluffernutter freaks have tried this - you know it just isn't right!! There's just *something* about Fluff that makes those Fluffernutter Samiches perfect! Fluff also makes the BEST Fudge I've ever had. Just know that with this 16 ounce tub - you get like 5 POUNDS of the chocolate fudge goodness!! I ordered 2 of the 16 ounce plastic tubs right away!! I almost freaked out because they were delivered <on time> on a day where it was 96 degrees outside, and one of the tubs was SO expanded I thought it might explode if I tried to open it up. I put both tubs on top of my fridge to help it cool off a little...and they're both back to normal, thankfully!I don't know if it was the heat that got to it or if it was the flight...but they were *really* expanded in the tub. I finally opened the tub and got a big old scoop out with a spoon and just ate it. No peanut butter, no samich...just Fluff...and man alive I tell you I felt like I was 5 years old again! Now, I'm 52 years old now, and my Mom passed away June 28 2016 - so this brought back some fun memories! I absolutely recommend this for sandwiches and if you like creamy fudge - THIS is what you want to buy!! Thak you Fluff for still making an AWESOME Fluff and than you Amazon for selling it ~ I will be buying more!!!

Stays good a long time
This is the second time I've ordered this. I bought this early last year and then got hospitalized for 4 months. It was still good when i used it. When I opened this order I was happy to find it was even softer than the old one had been

It's fluff, it is what it is
Got my fluff intact and with an expiration date just under a year out. Though, honestly, it's almost entirely sugar which is a preservative (whether HFCS or no) so it's not like it's going to really go bad. I think my mom had one in the cupboard for years. The container was a little puffy but since it's almost entirely air (as the name "fluff" would imply) that wasn't entirely unexpected. When I peeled the plastic off the top it was marshmallow fluff. Tasted great when I licked the plastic barrier clean. Can't wait to make a fluffernutter. I can't say anything about the price - it's not available where I am. If I could buy it here for 2 bucks I would. I can't, so I bought it from Amazon. In fairness, this is probably going to last me for 6 months or more. If it was something I was going to want to buy every week that would be a different story. Will buy again next year.

This Stuff Is Disgusting But Nostalgic, So I Had To...
I grew up in Maine in the 70s and 80s. We ate these wacky sandwiches called "fluffenutters"...white bread with peanut butter and fluff. I sometimes marvel that I survived my childhood. I was telling my daughter and husband about them and they couldn't imagine it. So, I immediately ordered a 16 oz. jar of Marshmallow Fluff and had it delivered to my door in Phoenix. When it arrived two days later, we excitedly made a fluffenutter and ate about two bites before saying, "Ok, we did that". I can say I understand this peanut/fluff combo curbs a craving for a salty and sweet snack, but still, "fluff" is just not real food. I still have about 15.5 oz in my pantry, which you are welcome to if you want to stop by. I gave it a 4 star rating for the nostalgic experience and because if you are looking for marshmellow fluff (for what reason?) this is the real deal.

Memories
Coming from New England (Boston, MA), you grow up thinking everybody eats the same foods throughout the country. Surprise, Surprise once you get beyond the borders of New England, food tastes change drastically! I haven't had a "Fluffanutter" sandwich in over 20 years! I have never enjoyed a childhood memory as much as I did that first sandwich! It's worth the splurge! Not quite as creamy as I remember, but it works fine with peanut butter! (also try dipping a fresh strawberry in Fluff and toasting it like a marshmallow.., yum!)
