This is my third go around with a squat pad. The first two were complete duds. This one works perfectly! I love the size, the way it fits easily around the bar, and the fact that the cover holds the pad securely in place. The cover is attractive, and is made of a nice quality material that feels nice against the skin. I use the pad for all types of squats as well as hip thrusts. It's extremely comfortable, and I no longer get marks on my neck, shoulders, or thighs. I would highly, highly recommend this product!

love the thickness protects my neck and makes me place the squat bar where it belongs. I do not feel the strain I use too feel on my neck and back. I recommend the product

So I purchased this pad because I liked the look of the cover, but because it's removable it becomes a little annoying when taking it on & off of a barbell. Also be careful to not get the velcro on your gym pants so it doesn't scuff them up. It's nice that you can wash it, but I would probably purchase one that has the cover attached next time.
