The best travel mug!
I bought this 5 years ago in jungle green colour and decided to treat myself to another one but this time in sapphire blue! This travel mug is amazing! It looks sleek and keeps my coffee hot for hours and hours! I’ve sometimes forgot i had coffee in it and after 4 or 5 hours come back to it and it’s still hot. The material is really nice and the mug feels nice to hold and i have people ask me about it all the time. Two things i love about this and why i bought a second mug, first it keeps coffee hot for ages and the mug itself isn’t hot when i hold it. Secondly the way the lid works and drinking from it, unlike most mugs which only have one spout to drink from this one is quite literally 360 meaning you can drink from any edge which makes it perfect for when i’m driving as i don’t have to fumble around trying to find the spout to drink from and on top of that in the 5 years i’ve had one of these it has never leaked. The only thing to be weary of with this mug is the what you put in is what you get, hot coffee remains so hot! So when you press the lid down to open it and take a first sip you need to be careful to not to burn your mouth by assuming it’s cooled down. Secondly, cleaning the lid mechanism is a bit annoying and over time it will build up residue but a daily wash as well as a deep clean once a month counters that.Overall the pro’s outweigh the cons and this is the best travel mug hands down! Particularly for people who travel and drive a lot. The drinking mechanism is a total game changer and the way it keeps the coffee hot for hours is simply awesome. Enjoy!

Excellent heat retention
Bought this to replace a travel mug that was starting to leak around the top.I spent weeks searching for a mug that had all round opening and really good heat retention. Originally I asked for a different mug for my birthday gift, and when my birthday can and went, with no mug, I was a little disappointed, but thought it wasn't really a problem as I can get it myself.I then had another look at the reviews for the other one, and decided to have another search, and stumbled upon this one - the 720° Degree mug.Once I read the reviews, over and over (yes I am a bit of an anorak about them!) I decided that this looked better than my original choice, so was relieved that I did not receive it for my birthday. On reviewing, I decided to go for the unpainted one, as I didn't want to have one that ended up chipped after a short space of time. (Some reviewers have said the paint comes off.)I have had it a few weeks now and I have not been disappointed.WARNING - on first use, I thought I had left my drink long enough, with the lid popped open, and took a sip and burnt the inside of my mouth. So, be really careful as this mug really keeps the drinks HOT!!Now I know, if I want to drink out of it a little sooner, I add a bit of cold water, once the drink is made.I would thoroughly recommend this mug. Leak proof, keeps very hot for a long time too. Not tried cold drinks, but I have no doubt that it will be fine.

Best cup for all day heat
It never disappoints, as it’s my 3rd one. Still using the other two but the colour has come off completely.

Keeps drinks hot for ages
The media could not be loaded. I've now had mine for nearly 4 years. Before I get into details let's make a statement: considering all pros and cons, I do recommend this mug (in fact I'm about to purchase a second one soon). Now the details: PROS: keeps hot drinks hot for ages. I've once left it accidentally in a car (around 4 degrees Celsius outside) for about 6 hours. Coffee was still very warm / hot when I got back in a car. For me the design of the lid is a winner: cup holder in my car is located between arm rest and gear stick allowing me to rest wrist on a top of the cup. Design of the lid prevents liquid staying in the area which has contact with my arm. Another big advantage to me is the fact that top of the lid remains cold (due to the lids design) so my wrist isn't annoyingly heated. Additional benefit is reduced heat loss of drink inside (clearly good design in terms of insulation). The only area of the mug getting very slightly warm is external part of the lid clise to the thread area. The metal part of the mug is not affected (with only a tiny area where it connects with the lid - the area which you don'treally ever touch). Another positive: It's difficult to explain, but the wide area through liquid leaves the inner part of the mug allows pretty smooth control without effect of waves separated by air bubbles. It also doesn't matter which side you are trying to drink: it's whole 360 degrees due the the fact that to start drinking, you just press the whole centre of the lid which then collapses slightly and stays there until you click it again to pop it up to apply a seal. I've seen reviews claiming that this mug leaks. Well, not in my case. In fact, at some point I've lost 1 out of 3 inner silicon seals and even then it didn't leak (and we're talking here about me turning it upside down and vigorously shaking to dissolve sugar). Maybe there are faulty lids but not mine (I'll be able to verify this when I get another one). The only occasion when the mug content spilled, was when I (most likely) put it there with a lid already pressed. This happened once over nearly 4 years, hence, I'm more inclined to blame myself. The whole mug is pretty solid (with exceptionof paint, but this I'll explain in cons part later): I dropped mine numerous times on hard floor from about a meter and while there are some minor dents on the bottom round edge, it didn't make the mug to lose any of its functionality. The lid never got damaged either. I like the look of the mug, but that's rather subjective so decide for yourself.Let's move to CONS: the paint: it's fragile and comes off rather easily. I've purchased black version and after few months there were bits of paint missing all over the mug. This pushed me to completely get rid of all black paint by rubbing it off with a kitchen metal mesh scarer. Paint came off easily strangely not leaving any scratches on , now, plain stainless steel coloured mug. It does look like that the mug is always originally silver (plain stainless steel) and the coloured versions are just painted over. After getting rid of paint the "720 dgree" text remained on the mug unaffected which would support my theory above. Needless to say, the next mug I get will be silver as it has no paint to come off. The plastic lid is always unpainted black. Another potential small issue: my wife gets annoyed by the click the mug lid makes when opening / closing to drink / stop drinking. Not an issue for me (I guess all mugs make a sound during opening and closing). This one is probably not the quietest but I didn't have many to compare. Another potential issue could be that there's no locking mechanism in a lid, so if you do accidentally press the top hard enough (when, for example, in a bag), it may spill when shaken or tipped hard enough to the side or, obviously, turned upside down). Like I mentioned before. I had just one spillage incident (and there's a good chance I put it in a backpack already open). Cleaning of the lid mechanism is a bit fiddly. There are 3 major elements with 3 silicone seals in total. To clean it properly I always remove seals so it does take a couple of minutes. For me that's acceptable considering positive impact on insulation performance but decide for yourself (I got my daughter a Contigo mug which, with no removable lid parts. has much easier cleaning process but, due to the lid heating up, it annoying warms up my wrist when mug is in a cup holder of my car (may not be an issue for someone else) and looses temperature of liquid noticeably sooner (even though still being pretty decent). Price of 720 degree mug is not the lowest (I do like what I'm getting for it though). Let's hope the second mug I'm about to purchase will not disappoint me either. That would be it. I do enclose a few pics of the mug after nearly 4 years of nearly everyday use and a picture of lid disassembled for cleaning (except 1 missing round silicon seal). Lid can be disassembled slightly further but the pictured stage seems to be sufficient for everyday cleaning. I'm giving the mug 4/5 stars overall. Solely performance wise it's 5/5 for me.
