Good quality
Bought this as a prop to use in a stage play and it is realistic looking, as well as substantially made.

Does the job required.
This item does what it intends and is at a cursory look at some distance a fearsome tool, a closer look and the thickness of the foam blade gives away the illusion very easily. Its very large too!The foam is a surprisingly high density, I was expecting it to be a lot more bendy, whilst it can't cut, you wouldn't want to be prodded with it, its going to hurt!Obviously not for aggressive acting before children or in their view or company as it would be disturbing and frightening, its use for adult audience costume or drama is more appropriate. Its styled like a large kitchen knife so a drama featuring a domestic incident or even just simulated chopping of food in a kitchen scene as it would be vastly safer than the real thing as a prop. Its current price is £10 which is not unreasonable, as mentioned, its quite dense and sturdy so would survive a season of a theatrical run I think.

Solid feel, realistic look
This prop knife comes plainly bagged. Though it's made of foam, it's not soft so has a solid appearance and feels firm in hand. It won't cut anything but neither will it bend much when pressed. This makes it a great costume accessory though I would say that while the blade has a plastic look close up, the realism is such that I would recommend not pulling it out in public. The quality is much better than I expected, I'm very happy with this prop knife.

Decent fake dagger
I recently ordered the Hoappa 12" Foam Dagger for a fancy dress party, and it turned out to be a great prop. Priced at £9.99, it offers good value for something that looks quite realistic and serves its purpose well. The dagger is made from a tough foam, making it both lightweight and durable. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the paintwork and detailing, which gives it a somewhat realistic appearance, though it’s clearly a prop upon closer inspection. The length is slightly longer than I anticipated, but it worked out fine for my costume. 🗡️Pros:- 🏅 Realistic appearance for a foam prop- 🎨 Nicely detailed with good paintwork- ✋ Comfortable to hold and lightweightCons:- 📏 Slightly longer than expected- 🔍 Obvious foam construction up closeOverall, this dagger was a hit at the party and is a handy prop for various uses.

Fantasy look to it
The Hoappa Foam Training Dagger looks good with more of a fantasy than medieval look to it.The dagger is a decent size, not looking like a toy in an adult hand and looking good when tucked into a belt.Up close the Hoappa Foam Training Dagger is clearly a tot, but for use with a costume or just messing around with, it’s absolutely fine.Overall, it’s lightweight and decent quality and finish for the money.

Great for training
Solid plastic that doesn't bend or wobble great for hand to hand training and close quarters combat. A good self defence training tool and also for martial arts training. Highly recommend.
