THE TAG SAYS "100% VELVET". IT IS VERY, VERY SOFT.

Q: Best way to clean this rug?

That is a problem. Vacuum works great, but if the rug gets something on it... it's like a stuffed animal. Once it gets wet, the " fur" is NOT the same. I love ed it ccx and I hate it for this reason.
