Nicely made and work smoothly. I used them to slow down the opening of a loft hatch - I probably should have gone for the 200N model but these do work.

And these were the only ones I could find within budget. Deciding to finally install the loft ladder, I needed to change the loft access from an inny to an outy. Doing this from 18mm ply I was concerned that the weight of the access door swinging down could pose a risk to anyone underneath it, and put extra stress on the hinges. So I wanted struts that would arrest the speed of the opening door. Now whilst soft closing is everywhere, soft opening was harder to find, but after a while I found these. Now they do work well, even more so for the mass they are being used for, but the majority of the effect is towards the end of the arm extension, this means the access door has the ability to drop open, but these slow that down very quickly and prevent any swinging. They also hold the access door away from the ladder, so I don't have to deal with ladder and door banging about. They would be perfect if the arrested the movement sooner into the opening of the arm, but I am none the less pleased with the them.

These are brilliant. Used them in some IKEA Ekket cupboards I ve positioned sideways and they are amazing. Good instructions with specific details on door weight - angle - position guides. As long as you follow the manual for the angle and weight analogy these will strongly keep the cupboard door from dropping.

Utilized these hinges for custom-made radiator cover doors, focusing on security to prevent accidental opening. These hinges proved to be robust and effectively secure the doors. Even a single hinge on one side of the other door performs well. A bit pricey, but justifies it with the reliable and robust performance received. These hinges exceeded expectations, delivering on the promise of strength and security for custom radiator cover doors

Really had high hopes for these but they certainly do NOT hold a 15lb cabinet door let alone the stated 22lb The instructions on the actual package are different to the actual stays themselves. Really now impressed and they have ended up in the bin as the packets had to be opened and then screwed to the cabinet the metal on the flanges compresses so can not return them. Do yourself a favour and purchase something else, as these certainly do not do what they are advertised to do :(

Not as easy to fit as shown in the video. I recommend fitting by trial and error as the locations in the instructions didn’t work. In ghe end, a good value product and a good finish.

All the instructions you get are the tiny printed, hardly-readable diagrams on the plastic bag, which also appear to show a lift-up rather than a drop-down configuration. Are these the same? Who knows? Unless you’ve installed one of these before you’re unlikely to work it out. And I’d rather not practice on the board I’ve already installed. These could be great little items but with scant instructions and not even a downloadable fact-sheet apparent they’re rendered useless for the beginner at least. Really disappointing.

Completely useless for a large, downward opening attic hatch. Installed in line with measurements and angle.

Have not installed them yet, we are waiting for a pair of butler hinges. They look like they are made very well. Look forward to getting this project finished
