Was a great gift

I finally figured out how to get the combo if your child forgets it. You need to shine a flashlight on the lock to see behind/underneath the combo wheels. I was able to get a good view by shining my light above it. You'll be able to see lines UNDER the moving silver wheels, inside the lock. I hope this makes sense and helps someone. The instructions make it seem like you'll see lines on the side of the wheels but that's false. They're inside and underneath each of the wheels and when you're light hits it right, you'll be able to see inside it clearly.

Great way for my granddaughter to draw and express her feelings. The lock is a nice way to challenge her to remember how to get it open.

I purchased this for my 9 year old grand daughter. I love the idea of not having a key that can get lost.However, after 9 days, the diary will no longer open. I saved her password so it is not an issue of not remembering her password to open the diary. We have attempted multiple times to complete the "reset password" process" indicated in the instructions. But nothing is working. So after 9 days, she is no longer able to write in the diary unless we cut off the strap. Very disappointing.

Santa got it for my daughter for Christmas! She loves it! We had some issues in the beginning to open it because the 000 didn’t work! And the manual said in case you forgot your code look at the side of the numbers with a flash light you will see little holes in 3 numbers and that opens it, we tried that there is no holes in any number! So we just kept trying and trying different numbers till it opened by chance! Since then no issues ! The journal is so cute but the lock system isn’t great!
