The Ending I Want : Towle, Samantha: desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: Hot, fun, sexy, silly, laughs and smiles, sadness and tears.... - Taylor Shaw is a 22 year old girl from Boston. She decides to go the England to see the cities where her parents met and have a final escape. She has had a tough past over the year, recently gone through a big tragedy, and suspects that the brain tumor she had as a teenager has returned due to her symptoms. Therefore the boards the plane, armed with her list of things to do before she dies! First thing on the list - Kiss a Stranger!! BOOM... straight in, on the plane she kiss-attacks her seat neighbour! This was also one of my favourite and funniest scenes in the book, made me laugh out loud & I've got to say got me hooked to the rest of the book! The 'stranger' she kissed - 32, year old Liam Hunter! Liam is a gorgeous, strong, powerful businessman. Taylor is a strong and courageous girl embarking on her final 2 week journey in life. Liam makes it his business, to help Taylor complete this list and tick off each and every item on there whilst she is in London. Taylor is only in the UK for 2 weeks an then she is going home. "We both know where we stand. Two weeks, and then we're done. Liam will go back to his life, and I'll go back to...well, I'll just go, and Liam will be none the wiser." Both the Taylor and Liam are holding onto their secrets. They both have pasts, and because this is only supposed be a couple of weeks, neither of them are totally honest with one another. I did want Taylor to just tell Liam her predicament and the situation she was in. I felt she was being a bit selfish by not sharing the fact of WHY she was here and exactly WHY she had written that list. It was obvious they were both falling for each other and there was becoming more to their relationship. There were a couple of moments when she outright lied to Liam, and I didn't like that. I sort of get why she did, but it didn't mean I liked it!! I loved the relationship that unfolded between the 2 characters. They had a very special bond and friendship that developed with some fantastic banter and hilariously funny exchanges! Although throughout the whole book I really did feel this underlying sense of sadness. "There's nothing wrong with being afraid. Everyone feels fear. But the day you let your fear control you is the day you stop living. Really living." I loved when the PoV switched from Taylor to Liam. It was great to see more if his side and exactly how he was feeling. There were some great scenes with some interesting revelations between the characters. And I did really like the ending! I don't want to say too much more as it would be far too easy to accidently give away spoilers. But I will say this is a really well written book, full of fun, sex (Phew...some of those scenes were HOT HOT HOT!!), drama, angst, a whole heap of sadness, but also a lot of humour and laughs which really made me smile!! 4.5 fabulous stars! Review: This book was crazy hot, humorous, and a bit of a tearjerker, too. - "For the first time in a really long time, I feel alive. And it's because of him." Taylor is 22, all alone on the world, and is dying. She's on her way to England and has a list of things to do before she dies. On the flight over, a gorgeous specimen of a man sits beside her, and a mad impulse has her ticking off the first item on her list, "Kiss a stranger". Amazingly, he kisses her back, and it's the start of the most incredible two weeks of her life. "You're mine, Boston, in every way that matters," he whispers. "You're different and perfect, and you're mine." Liam is 32 and turns out to be the billionaire owner of the airline and holiday company that Taylor is travelling with. He persuades her to spend time with him and let him help her fulfil her list - especially all her sexual challenges! Taylor throws caution to the wind, but what starts off as a two-week final fling turns into something much more than either had anticipated. I'm totally in love with Liam! Besides being a Henry Cavill lookalike, he's generous, thoughtful, and caring, but very dominant, too. I loved how much he was into Taylor. Their chemistry was sizzling from the first kiss! Taylor is misguided by the huge weight of guilt she carries around in her heart. She's been coasting along for years, just getting through life, but not really living. However, when she's with Liam, she's sassy, gutsy, and fun. I loved their banter. This was such a great story and I couldn't put it down. The writing flowed, so easy to read, the characters were fun and flirty but had depth, and the sex was hawt! Throw in some heartbreaking angst and it was a fab recipe for a very enjoyable novel. Thoroughly recommend!

Liam is a whole new level of HOT!!!!
Samantha Towle is one of my ‘go to’ authors but I’m always a bit dubious when she releases a new book because each one is better than the last and I don’t want to be disappointed. Oh boy, what was I thinking? This latest treat is just fantastic. Liam is a whole new level of hot while Taylor is really likeable, full of wit and feistiness that I love in a leading female character. I was gripped right from the opening line and I swear this author’s style just keeps improving with experience. She writes so descriptively managing to immerse the reader totally into the story. The dialogue is quick and clever and at times laugh out loud hilarious. The sex is off the charts scorching created by the instant chemistry that burns between Liam and Taylor – it was naughty and dirty and loving and crazy. But the depth of the emotion that runs close to the surface throughout the entire book had my heart lurching and my eyes stinging. I read this in one day; over breakfast, during my lunch break and well into the evening. I could not put it down. Fantastic story line; totally absorbing characters and copious amounts of hotness – what’s not to love!

everything i wanted
MY REVIEW Let me start by saying i adore Liam Hunter he is pretty amazing and made really this book for me, his awesomness carried the whole story. What i expected from the book was to be a huge mess of tears, but that is not what i got. Okay this book has some emotional parts but there is more to the story than just the girl dying of a brain tumour. The Ending I Want is romantic, happy and beautiful. Most of the book is centred around working through Taylor's list of thing to do before she dies, although a lot of the things on Taylor’s list are sexy in nature, there are other things that are not and those are the things that truly made me smile warmed my heart. If you take anything away from this book at all it is that you must live life to the fullest, overcome your fears do things that scare you just because you can, really live. A lovely emotional surprisingly happy read.

I’ve read a few books by Samantha Towle, and I decided I was finally ready to jump into this one. And boy, is it ever good! Because of the premise - Taylor is dying of brain cancer - the book is highly angsty. She had brain cancer in the past, and she recognizes the signs, but she decides not to go to the doctor and seek treatment. Her family died a few years ago, and she feels responsible for their death. So, she’s ready to pay for her mistakes and rejoin them in the afterlife. Before she dies, she wants to finish up the list that she made when she first had cancer when she was sixteen years old. It was a list for what she wanted to do if she lived, but now it’s what she wants to do before she dies. First on the list–Visit London, the city where her parents met and fell in love. On the plane there, she gets to check off the second thing on her list – “Kiss a stranger”. But after the six-hour plane ride, that stranger doesn’t want to say goodbye. Instead, he offers to help her accomplish all the things on her list. This book is sweet and steamy and angsty. Taylor doesn’t tell the handsome Liam that she’s dying. She just wants two weeks of happiness with him before she returns home to die. But she doesn’t expect that after the time is up, he won’t want to let her go. Liam is absolutely swoon-worthy and I loved this book so much! I don’t usually cry while reading books, even the super angsty ones (for some reason I bask in others’ pain–let’s not over-analyse that) but towards the end, the tears were streaming down my face. All in all, this is a five-star read from me!

I don’t know what took me so long to finally read this book because it was just as amazing as Samantha’s other books. This one broke my heart though. I felt sad for Taylor and what she had been through as a young teen and all that she lost. Then to top that off, she thinks her brain tumor is back again years later. So she decides she’s going to follow a list she made when she survived the first tumor, only this time it’s a “things to do before I die” list. First thing? Take a trip to England where her parents met. Second thing? Kiss a stranger, which led her into English hottie Liam Hunter’s world. Never in a million years would she have guessed kissing a stranger would forever change her life. I loved how Liam & Taylor met. It was cute & funny. Taylor felt free and happy. Hanging with Liam took her mind off of why she was really in England. But then feelings start to happen. Feelings Taylor didn’t know what to do with. My heart ached for her and what she was going through. I wanted so much for her to live a happy life with Liam because she deserved it. The turn of events hit hard with this one and made my heart hurt. I prayed there was going to be a good outcome because I don’t know how I would’ve felt otherwise. I absolutely love Samantha’s writing and always look forward to more from her.
