Yak Attack BlackPak

The assembly was a little confusing but went together in about 30 minutes. I did watch a video on the installation prior to assembly. My two bungees worked perfectly securing the box in the kayak. It sets in the same location never needing to be removed. The lid is secured by a small stretchable tie that is amazingly durable for opening and closing multiple times along with securing the lid for 70 mph trips. It contains my tackle, first aid kit, rain gear & additional propeller. I have room for it to contain my future camera w accessories & backup trolling motor battery. The rod holders are very secure and have performed perfectly with a lot of interaction. If I needed another box, which I don’t, I would purchase this same one...by far.

Love it. Yes it's a bit on the expensive side, but it is super sturdy and is great to hall everything you need for the day. I fit 4 3700 bass mafia boxes and a bass mafia money bag full of plastics. I have read comments that it is difficult to assemble, I did not find that to be the case. It took me approximately 30 minutes to get it together, and that includes installing some hinges instead of the bungee that's included.

I wanted the Tan one - they sent me black - they quickly sent a replacement.. also black.. I live in Florida and I want the Tan one for less heat absorption.. really hoping they’ll make this right..Otherwise - kind of a pain to assemble.. lots of screws and bolts.. but it is really nice for surf fishing and kayak fishing.. not sturdy enough to sit on the lid.. I’ll probably seal the bottom edges of mine with flex seal so it can take a wave as the tide is coming in and not leach through the bottom..

Everything was great, don't understand why some reviews said it was difficult to assemble I had no problem. The only thing wrong was the Yak Attack sticker was messed up but no biggie. Installed on a Bonafide SS127 I couldn't be happier.

Got this for my kayak, Got tired of using a milk crate. This was not easy to put together, but duct tape is your friend. One together, I quickly fell in love with it. I can put more tackle in it, than I could ever put in a milk crate. Little snug in my kayak so I added runner feet to it to give it a little more lift. Love it.
