Crystal Mic vs. UFlyMike
I really like the idea for this mic. The magnet attachment works really well. I tried this on my Bose QC25. What I wasn't impressed with was the quality of the materials used in producing the cabling and microphone. For some background I have used the older UFlyMike with a Bose QC2 for over 10 years. I am also a professional pilot and fly with this setup over 800 hours per year. I found the cords on the Crystal Mic to be thin, covered in a hard, not terribly flexible plastic. The plugs just have a cheap feel to them compared to Bose, David Clark, or Sennheiser products. I did get excellent audio quality through the QC25 headset with great noise attenuation, but I feel that was more due to the quality of the Bose headset. The voice quality was average through the Crystal Mic. I think the old UFlyMike and the Bose A20 sound much better when transmitting. This product does work. It's wonderful to have a mic that attaches to the Bose headsets. If you just can't wait for UFlyMike to clear out their backlog of orders (currently at 12 weeks), then this product may be for you. I sent mine back and will just wait to test the new Harmony headset developed by UFlyMike when it becomes available.

so far I have used them for 1 week and around 30 flight hours and I’m very happy. They work just as fine as I espected
I Fly as a Pilot in Command of a mid-size turboprop airplane. I used to use the big-green david clark headphones and after a couple of hours of wearing them, i started to feel unconfortable, even sometimes with a headache. So I decided to give a try to this mic with mi Bose QC25, so far I have used them for 1 week and around 30 flight hours and I’m very happy. They work just as fine as I espected.Pros: very easy to install, ensamble and disasamble. Good sound quallity (acording with mi Copilos). Purchased via Amazon, arrived home 2 days after.Cons: haven’t found cons yet.I will update this review once I get more experience with the mic and headphones.

It can save you couple hundred bucks!
Amazing quality, definitely looks better than the pictures on Amazon.Come with many equipments, most of them are extra stickers that you can replace with. You can see each details has their logo; not cheap cables.Using with Sony WH-1000xm3, not surprisingly, much more comfortable than typical aviation headset.Microphone angle is more adjustable than typical headset, noticed that if the microphone “talk “ side must be on mouth side, it will sound less noise and more clearly.Thoughtful seller, very fast email reply, awesome customer services.Review:Noise canceling headphone+ microphone & adapter = noise canceling aviation headsetIt just saved me couple hundred dollars, I can get more hours now.

Worst microphone solution ever!
No it doesn't work as intended. It has few design flaws, at least for Airliners, and some problems also for GA...depends of the version you get (I had 3 different versions from OSEI and none was working properly).Speaker volume too high (have to turn volumes all the way down on the radio panel). And yet still all the Electronic Crew Alert Messages (like 1000ft to go, ATIS, CellCall CellCall etc. "robot" voices, caution messages, bells etc.) are WAAAAY too loud, hurts your ears. Some versions microphone is/was so quiet, that ATC & your Crew etc. can't hear what you are talking with normal voice.Magnets doesn't stay on place (and velcro is not any better), on your headset, or the inside the microphone boom holder!(2 sided tape is not a permanent solution, for example, one time my microphone fell off during the instrument approach on final, NOT good at all, it's DANGEROUS!!!)And seller is just making empty promises about how he will fix all the problems, and new parts are coming from Chinese factory etc. etc. excuses, And yet still he refuses to refund your return after 30 days.He says that UPS pilots doesn't have any problems, but it must be BS talk, since I don't know any pilot who have been happy with this...it just very poor engineering!Be careful with this OSEI Crystal Mic seller, Worst experience ever! Can't recommend to anyone!!! You been warned...
