Great splitter, got the 4 output model. As others have noted the device is black and silver, not black and white but that doesn't affect the functionality.From my limited testing it seems to pass the EDID of the last display connected (i.e if you have 2 displays connected, the EDID of the one on output 2 is sent to the source). Haven't tested to see if that affects what capabilites / resolutions are detected although I imagine it would.I couldn't detect any signal degradation and it's working great, I even have the output of a 5 port switch hooked up to it so you can create an inexpensive matrix switcher this way.Awesome product for the price.(Update 9/20/17)Just got the 2 output splitter as well and happy to say it works as well as the 4 port model.

It works, but it is hard to get it to make connection and when connected in conjunction with an hdmi surge protector gives a very degraded picture. By its self the picture quality is pretty good. I had bought it and a surge protector to be able to have only one hdmi cable attached to the tv after the surge protector for simplified lightning protection. Now i will probably just get another surge protector for the other hdmi and not even use this switch. (AMENDED SELLER OFFERED A FULL REFUND WITH NO RETURN BECAUSE OF THE INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUE. THE HDMI SURGE PROTECTOR I AM USING IS A SEWELL BRAND.)

I tried to use this to extend HDMI ports for a Vizio 60" 'monitor' style TV. Unfortunately it caused the TV to get confused and the soundbar would rarely work without significant button pushing, etc. Found another solution. It did work fine as far as video pass through, however, so it does work for those installation needs.

I love this product, I have a 32 inch lg monitor that I use as a tv. The only problem is that it only has one hdmi input, but i wanted to connect one chromecast, a ps4 and my laptop to it. Before I had a similar product and worked fine so I decided to test this one out and it works perfectly for my set up. It has 3 inputs and automatically switch to the one that you are using. Ex:. You are using chromecast and power on the ps4, then it will switch to the ps4. I also use the remote to change between them, the ps4 is infront of the device and until now the remote works perfectly fine. The device looks with good quality.I would recommend this product.

The one I got does not work. Does not connect devices to the TV. It took a couple months to have time to fool with multiple devices and make sure it wasn't just the Roku. Tried three different devices. None of them connected. Return window had closed. Not saying yours won't work, but make sure to check it quickly.

Purchased this device it does not support resolution 1920x1080 when using PC monitor with HDMI. It will initially show video then the monitor video will shut off. When monitor is set to a resolution lower than 1920x1080 the video stays active on the monitor. Rated this a 2 star due not supporting 1920x1080 monitor resolution, which is the reason device was purchased.

I have two HDMI slots used on this....one is my roku and the other is my bluray player. Since my Roku is always on by default, the Roku signal out is just a pass thru to my TV. When I turn on the bluray player, the switch seems to automatically select that input. When I turn off the bluray player, it automatically goes back to Roku. I haven't had to use the remote. The picture doesn't seem to be affected by the switch. Set up was easy peasy.

I've had this for a couple of months now and it's working perfectly for my situation. I use this to connect my Xbox One and PS4 to one monitor. I don't use the remote at all because I sit at a desk with the consoles. The button face on the unit for switching is perfect for my set up. The power supply included with the product alleviates the need of having both consoles turned on like other switches might require.
