I was looking for my first drone and after doing my research I went with this one. I’ve had it for a few months now and absolutely love it. It’s got pretty decent range, I’d say half a mile or so I still get too scared to go any further but the signal stays strong lol. I strongly recommend biting the bullet and getting the fly more combo, without it the singular included battery will only get you about 15-20 minutes of flight time and the included battery charging hub, 2 extra batteries and carrying case are super useful. If you had a fast charger, you could essentially get nearly unlimited flight time by just charging up the batteries and swapping out every 20 minutes. Video quality is fantastic, I keep it at 1080P/60 just for storage conservation and ease of sharing and it still looks phenomenal. This thing can withstand some wind too, it’s so incredibly stable even with some minor gusts too. Using the remote you attach your phone into is fine, but I do think at some point in the future I wanna get the controller with the screen built in. Range is better and it’s just easier and faster to get it in the air without having to fiddle around with getting your phone in the mount, plugging it in and opening the app. Overall I absolutely love this drone, it gets me to go outside and explore cool places so I can get some drone footage lol. I recently went up to the Carolina’s to ride the blue ridge parkway and get off at overlooks to take footage and it was incredible.

This is my fourth DJI drone, purchased specifically to help my son develop his piloting skills. For its compact size, this drone delivers an impressive performance. It offers remarkably smooth flight handling, and the image quality exceeds expectations—crisp and clear, even at extended distances.The accompanying app is intuitive and provides essential flight checks, including restriction zones and altitude limits. We were able to maintain excellent video clarity at a distance of approximately 300 yards with no signal degradation. Beyond that range, visual tracking becomes a challenge due to its small profile.Another noteworthy aspect is its quiet operation—surprisingly subdued for a quadcopter. We also appreciate that its lightweight design exempts it from registration requirements. With a full suite of beginner-friendly features and built-in safety mechanisms, this drone serves as a perfect training platform for new pilots.

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a drone my kids and I can have that’s user friendly, easy to fly, good video/photo, durable, a good battery span, wind/weather resistance, and one small enough to carry around. I definitely read reviews and decided to go with the DJI 4k. Definitely worth the price. I bought the combo with 3 batteries, battery charger pack, and total time fly averages about 60 to 80 minutes depending on what setting it’s on and who’s using it lol. It takes great pictures and videos. Drone is extremely easy to use and it hovers in one spot when not being moved. You connect your phone to the remote and place it on the phone holder on the remote. The highest we flown it was about 500 ft up in the air and about 250 ft in distance. I love that it alerts you with its to windy, to high, to far, and I definitely love the home back function. It comes with extra blades extra cords, travel bag, and I do like that you can take off the joy sticks from the remote when not in use to prevent them from breaking. Again definitely a great buy!!

Drone was very easy to set up and fly for a new person. Battery life is great at about 25 min per batter and the camera is crystal clear and takes great pics as well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was it didn't come with a connector for the remote to an iPhone that works on an iPhone 12 Pro Max and had to purchase it separately.

Tons of fun. Easy to fly. Good quality camera. Decent amount of features for that price, especially compared to other brands.

DJI MINI 4K Review: (DJI Caught In A Lie)DJI just announced a new drone that would only be available on amazon and Best Buy. Not on the DJI website. DJI claimed this was an upgrade from the mini 2, but after careful analyzing and going into the specs, there are features that are missing on this drone, than on the mini 2, and they are charging more with the fly more bundle kit. Notes that are missing are the front flashing rgb light that helps with aircraft visibility, no file transfer button, and a hidden feature to hide from users eyes, inside the battery compartment, it says DJI Mini 2 SE..... What they did is basically took the DJI Mini 2 SE that had lower specs, and slapped a 4K mini sticker on it, to basically call it the mini 2. It's not the mini 2 though, it has the missing features which personally is a big issue for beginners like they are trying to aim at. It is important that drones have a good rgb light strobe system. When I fly my mini 2 at night, it is visible, with the mini 4K though... It's flying blindly. This is an absolute huge concern for anyone flying up high in the air when aircraft can be present. The main issue here is that DJI put this on other markets and not on their main website. They claimed this to be an upgrade from the mini 2 by offering 4k Zoom 2X, when actually the mini 2 already had this. They actually took features away and slapped the 4K Mini sticker on it and said, here is your new drone. This is the mini 2 se with a 4K sticker. The SE didn't sell the greatest, so they put a sticker on it and called it brand new... This is wrong in all shapes and sizes, and a drone that DJI should take off their market. They say it's the best affordable 4K mini drone, but that's a lie, the mini 2 was the best and had the full specifications that were not taken away like this one.
