Sofrin. A company after my own heart. As a man who works on cars, in construction, and frequently finds myself wanting a light on me I originally bought a Sofrin IF23 in the same year, 2023. It lasted for three years. And i beat the living crap out of it every single day. So you can imagine my dismay when it finally broke down. The company is in the process of warrantying it- but i wanted to try the new model out in the meantime. I will not be returning it. They added a dial around the button so you can know which mode you’re in and how to get there, unlike the IF23’s button combo which was easy once you know it, but handing the light to anyone who’d never touched such a bright flashlight would be frustrating. So the function is greatly improved over the original. And tell me how they managed to make this thing ever so slightly smaller and keep the same specs? very impressive. the magnet will hold onto your hood on the highway, and you can’t beat this brand for anything less than olight pricing. the battery is outrageous, which has always been a selling point for me. the option to use the battery as a small emergency power bank is a nice comfort since i carry it EDC. in addition the smaller size fits better in my waistband and my holster. There is no better flashlight for $35. Super happy, will return when the IF25 comes out.

Easy to use and great light

Initially I was happy with this but then the black function button went stiff and is now almost impossible to operate, the return window was too short so I can't get a refund or a replacement torch, I am extremely disappointed and feel let down by the seller, at least on eBay I have more chance to speak to th seller but on here it's very difficult, not at all happy!

This flashlight has proven to be super useful. Normally multi-beam flashlights like this aren't my thing but, this one has won me over and is a daily companion! The rotary switch on it makes accessing the different lights super easily and simplifies the selection process, especially compared to similar lights from other manufacturers. Sofirn has implemented a great User Interface on this flashlight. The while LEDs on the side of the flashlight are great for lighting up a large room during a power outage or similar event where you want to flood a large area with light. The RGB leds on the size are great for mood lighting, accent lighting, or used outdoors set to RED so you don't attract bugs! The white LED on the end of the flashlight is a good midrange option that will throw a reasonable distance and has a reasonable spread of the flood. The last "feature" that is really noteworthy is the size and weight. Normally I carry an AA flashlight on a neck lanyard but, this flashlight has replaced it. On a neck lanyard, I don't find the minor weight increase to be a problem. The size is only slightly larger in diameter and it is a little longer while still being close to my AA flashlight. Seriously, I carry it on a neck lanyard most days and find it super hand to use the light on the end to peer into a dark corner or use the side Leds when looking into a dark drawer or closet. Overall, a real gem of a flashlight!
