It did the trick
Light on the stairway went out and it is very high.I found this item and was hoping to install as a solution to allow an elderly person to safely go up/down the stairs, and THESE DID THE TRICK PERFECTLY!!!It was easy to install and had clear instructions.I wish it would have included a few more connecting cables (short ones) for the length of my stairway but i was able to use the longer ones and Hide the excess.Having the motion sensor at both ends is perfect, the lights come up (sequentially in my case, there are other settings) from either end and no need to worry to turn on/off.I used "double sided alien tape" to secure the cable in a straight line between lights and it looks very nice. You will need a power source close to either end of the stairs. My second set of stairs do not have a close outlet so i am not able to usemaybe they will come up with a way to extend past the sensor to include a second flight of stairs...in any case i would recommend it.

Cool effect very bright
I had other lights that would come on when you got near them one by one not really good. You’re already on the step before you can see what you’re doing. This is pretty cool and that once you tripped the sensor on either side, the top of the stairs or the bottom it will start lighting up in whatever way you have it set up where it will light up each their one at a time like one second after the other as you’re headed up or down or you can turn on all at once you can even have it turn on when nighttime comes and leave it on I did fine with them that you can only really mount them on the left side of the stairs, going up because of the way the light has a hood on it and shines its light across. Not really a big issue. One important thing is you have to follow the light numbers on the back you start with 12345 like that and continue forward do not get them mixed up or they will come on in the wrong order. I don’t think you have to use all the lights like let’s say you bought 16 and you only use 14 that’ll still work but you just don’t use number 15 and 16 as an example. I was able to use all 16 lights because you can kind a bunch of few up on a corner, but it comes in different sets. Everyone really likes them and for Thanksgiving when people came up with they were really impressed with how it lit up and looked highly professional, but super easy to install. All wires are preset size so make sure you work out. Where are you gonna put each thing first

Easy to install, works as expected
Added them to our stairs, since they are in a dark area of the house we were going through the battery versions of lights far too quickly (plus our cat constaintly going up and down the stairs). Installed with no problem and I like that you can change the brightness and how they light up on the stairs.

Illuminated my dark steps
Got these after a relative complained about not seeing steps at night. These are a good alternative approach without making additional work for your stairs. The cords connecting each lamp are not long so you have to plan the lamp's placement. The lights can illuminate both from the top or bottom of the stairs, so don't worry too much about where to start and end the path; just follow the instructions and you'll be good. The lights are programmable in terms of brightness, white or yellow lights, and the speed of which they activate and deactivate the lamps; no wifi required. The motion sensors are very sensitive. Will definitely get more of these for my basement steps.

I light out of 16 is not working 😤
I just installed it, but ID-10 is not working. Are you gonna send the replacement or I need to take it all down and return it?FYI, when I install it, I use 3M type, it cost me more than $15

Functions great - limited adaptability
I really, really like these lights. I had a rechargeable LED light on our back stairs with a motion sensor - but the cats kept setting it off and we had to recharge it way too frequently. The fact that this plugs in to the wall was a key factor in my decision. The two motion sensors work extremely well - it's very cool that these act like sequential "runway lights" and reverse direction depending if you're going up or down. This is a great idea, but the design is extremely limited. The lights connect with short wires, but seem to be designed for a single application only. There is no option for a longer or shorter connection wire which would be used for non-standard staircases (like ours). The company was very responsive when I contacted them to see if I could buy different size wires; although they don't carry them they did send me a few additional lights at no charge, so I was able to adapt the system to look OK on our stairs. I would love to see them expand their offering to include this adaptability, and perhaps offer different light options. I'm not sure I'd put this on my front staircase because of the limited design possibilities.

Nice addition to a dark stairway.
These lights are a great way to provide safety in a classy way. The option to light all at once or to cascade them is really nice. Also the motion sensors at both the top and bottom ensure that there is always light whether going up or down. Easy to install, very good directions.

Great sensor lights.
The media could not be loaded. We love these lights!!! These lights eliminates the need to turn my lights on and off when using the stairs. My stairs are well lit while in use which is a great safety feature for my family. Set up was a breeze and Ameistor Customer Support was above par and very responsive. I strongly recommend them.
