I am using this scale for measuring gun powder to 2 decimal places for several calibers for which I reload ammunition. My older scale measures to one decimal point. The scale appears to be quite accurate and checks when compared to the older scale. I like that I can be sure it is level using the bubble. I must say I do not like the small plastic vessels for placing material to be weighed, being black in color, I cannot readily view the black powder granules. I am using the aluminum pan that came with the older scale. Otherwise, the scale does the job that is needed.

As the title say, this is NOT a true milligram scale. But for many purposes, it's good enough. Yes, it displays mg (.001 g) digits, but any digital scale can be made to do that. It neither resolves 1 mg nor is accurate to 1 mg. For resolution, it's probably good to 2-3 mg, so it's probably best used to compare differences in weight of objects that are close in weight. As for accuracy, it's hard to say, but it might be in the same neighborhood or slightly worse, depending on how heavy the item to be weighed is. Again, it's a good value for what it is.

VERY ACCURATE and PRECISE scale, but to be clear, it is not accurate to the level they claim. It is accurate to 0.05 grains or 0.03 grams (not their 0.01g claim). The scale reads in these denominations. For example, it reads 139.96 then goes to 140.02 (rounding involved). There is no in between. This is plenty accurate for reloading imo. I have several known weights to test accuracy and it is very reproducible, over and over. Different rooms, different days. Also reads very fast. I recommended plugging in only to keep voltage consistent. I don't think the false accuracy claim warrants taking a star away. For the price, it is unbeatable for what you're getting.

I use this to weigh rock and mineral samples for jewelry making. It is very accurate and affordable. Take it with me to trade shows to be sure I’m getting what I’m paying for.

So far, has been extremely precise, easy to use, and overall just a great addition to my reloading bench. I calibrated per the instructions the first time. Ever since, I power on and check with RCBS check weights, and it is spot-on EVERY TIME. Wish I had bought one years ago.
