Easy Fix for Troy Bilt Pony
If your spindles are squeaking, go ahead and replace them before something breaks or freezes up to cause expensive damage. I learned the hard way (destroyed belt; broke pto cable; and damaged idler pulley.)These Spindles come complete with necessary hardware. Very easy to replace.Also, the spindles have grease fittings to prolong life of moving part. However, the tip of my grease gun got stuck on both fittings. Had to unscrew the tip off my gun hose to release the lock spring. (Since then, I have replaced the tip of my grease gun with a tip that can be manually loosened or tightened.)
