Second Babyhawk R defective!
So this is my second Babyhawk R! I bought the 2 inch the first time and found a busted switch on the VTX. I had to re solder the switch back on. I thought that this was just a defective one since hearing great things about( youtube) EMAX. I then bought the 3" and again had an issue I originally thought was the VTX. Turns out it was the camera this time! The Plastic on the back of the actual camera arrived bent with weak solder joints on the board. Now having to replace the whole camera which cost 30-40 dollars, this drone now cost around 200. Ive been in this hobby now for over 7 years. I have 10k in DJI drones and dont mind paying for a quality product. Also the antenna and the cheap glue on it is worthless. almost fried my VTX. I have many other freestyle drones and bought this one for longer flight times and the ability to fly around without bring out my 5". I attached pictures to the review. Im trying to show the cheap plastic on the foxeer camera. In case you were wondering this is all before getting in the air other than 1 battery to setup in Betaflight and 1 test battery, thus finding a glitch in what I thought was the VTX dropping out. In the picture these are the first and original props. I thought about buying the Hawk 5 but will never give EMAX another dollar. What a waste of time and money. I also tested these on BOTH my DJIRE annnddd and Fatshark HDOs with Immersion RC Rapid fire running and 80 dollar True RC Patch and luminer antenna so I know its not my goggles.UPDATE- Ive beat the hell out of this Babyhawk! although Im still a little upset that the camera came broken, I still love flying the Babyhawk 3. I wrote a bad review after that and now after fixing some issues with it. Its one of my favorite drones. I apologize emax I love this drone. The 3 inch props are good but if your going to run them on 4 s I highly recommend gemfan 2.5 inch props and make this thing a very controllable screamer

Great 3” BNF, might have issues when running 4s LIPO
Pros:Arrived in a couple daysGreat packaging, spare props, screws, etc.Tons of power & stick resolution on 4s 450mah Lipo (3s is still plenty for most people)Canopy Looks cool and is convenient for access to the fc stack. Camera mount fits most micro cameras (I switched mine to the caddx turbo)Cons:No smart audio...2 motors now not spinning correctly, no signs of damageFlew maybe 10-15 packs on this quad before the above issue started, no hard crashes at all.RX doesn’t have a strong signal. I switched that out for an R9MM receiver for a little extra cushion.Overall, great quad for the price. I am disappointed I didn’t even get to race it before issues started popping up. I’d recommend it to any of my friends, but I’ll throw in a word of caution about the quality of the parts. I am reaching out to the seller to see if they will replace the failed motors, I will update this review accordingly once I’ve got it back up and running. Happy flying!

Flies like Butter!
Absolutely butter through the air. Doesn't feel as agile as the 2" so if you want a really toss-able micro quad, the 2" is the one, this one feels 9/10s a 5" just needs less space to fly in.Motors are whisper quiet and very powerful. I have the Baby Hawk R 2" and 3", and a Diatone GT-R90 that I am just loving, making me reach for my Impulse RC Reverb and Aliens since they require a bit more space to roam free in. Absolutely as much fun, a true blast to screw around with.

Great Value for the money...
Awesome little 3" quad. Feels like flying a 5". Getting 7 minute flights on Tattu 4S 75C 850mAh pack. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071GBMHDS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It does not have smart audio control of the VTX or a current sensor. The included VTX works fine and I just deal with the non smart audio... You will have to unlock it to gain access to some of the channels and to get it out of 25mw mode... The VTX antenna sucks so go and get yourself a Foxeer Lollipop 2 U.FL Antenna and replace it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07JFFP4LZ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Also, if you want current sensing, get one of these. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CV5CKDL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and connect to pin 11 of the F3 processor... Instructions here: http://www.fullspeedrc.com/fsd-amass-xt30-current-sensor_p0122.html After these few upgrades this thing is my go-to quad after work when time is short. The flight performance is very good and this thing is a real blast. I would not recommend it for beginners. Its Fast...

Can't get or build a better small [3"] quad right now!! Emax knows what they are doing.
This is a great flyer and basically the best little 3" quad you can find for the money or even for more money really! The one guy who didn't get screws must have been an early release of the product but it is very well packed now and they have a lot of users who have given them feedback and they have adjusted the things people didn't like and have made it a really really good quad! You cant even buy these components separately and build it yourself for any less $...Also, best of all Emax has posted on their website all the updated the settings for the newest version of Betaflight to include perfectly tuned PID setups for 3S and 4S lipos.... excellent!

Smooth and powerful
This 3 inch stays in the air longer then the 2 inch. It’s even quieter in seems to have a little more speed. Although I am using a 4S 550mah battery instead of a 3S I’m using on the 2 inch. I like the fact that I can fly without disturbing the neighbors with sound too much. Good quality camera just like the 2 inch. Flying out to 500 m still gets pretty good reception on 200mw. I did end up losing my 2 inch which I have to replace because I lost VTX reception at around 400m because of wet trees. This 3 inches is really my favorite now to fly and the 2 inch not far behind. Setting them up goes pretty smooth and simple. From RSSI to turtle mode all I had to do was update the ESC on BLHELI to get turtle mode working in the right direction. For me it flies good right out of the box without tuning. The only problem I’ve found so far with this 3 inch is the buzzard tends to go in and out. That can be a problem if you lose it and try to use the buzzard it may sound very light and squeaky.
