A good solution to a problem of distance.
If like me your turntable has to be on the other side of the room from your amplifier then you will need one of these to ground it. It is a very fine wire so is easily tucked safely away out of sight. Worth every penny for a proper turntable.

Solved my earth issue on my Rega P6
There’s a well known issue with Rega tonearm wiring that can cause a loud hum because the earthing has failed. Odd since Rega turntables are not earthed. I connected this cable between the arm mounting point and the earth tag on the phono pre-amp and hum problem was solved. Makes no sense of course but it fixed the problem.

Ho un pre phono project, collegato al giradischi project con cavi Jack con cavetto massa di buona fattura. Ultimamente il prephono emetteva massa e sentivo un leggero fruscio mentre il disco suonava. Questo cavetto ha letteralmente annullato il fruscio di fondo. C'è l'ho solo da un giorno e il risultato è evidente. Consigliatissimo.

und passt. Habe 10 Meter genommen und nur das benötigte Stück hergenommen, der Rest mit Gabelkabelschuh wird anderweitig hergenommen. Geht sicher auch billiger im DIY, CONRAD hatte aber die passenden Gabelkabelschuhe nicht im Geschäft ...
