It's great

Pretty pleased with this little fairlead and hook so far. I've gotten tired of my rig's winch hook dangling around and clanging against my bumper so I thought I would give this a try. It mounted up to my ScalerFab bumper without issue. The mounting holes are VERY close to that of the RC4WD Warn fairlead (Z-S1310), which is 31.5mm hole-to-hole. According to my digital calipers, the holes on this fairlead are 31mm on-center. The magnet seems plenty strong for what it needs to do and the hook is large enough to grab onto most scale shackles or recovery gear. The pin on the hook is removeable (very tiny allen wrench included) if you already have a looped end to attach to. My only complaint is that the spring on the hook latch is pretty weak and doesn't return sometimes.

This is a nice little guard plus a tow hook, it all goes together magnetically. Looks nice and performs well, the hook is nice and no worries about it deforming.
