I keep A+D Original Diaper Rash Ointment on hand all the time because it just works. I’ve used it for diaper rash, dry skin, and even small irritations, and it always helps soothe the skin fast. It’s thick, protective, and a little goes a long way. Simple, reliable, and one of those products I always trust to have at home.

Excellent ointment! I've used this for a paper cut, takes the sting away almost immediately. I've used for dry skin, it moisturizes nicely (better than a top tier face cream), I've used it for itchy skin, it does the trick. It does have a bit of a "fragrance" , if I can call it that, but it works wonders. The tube I received is fairly large, almost like a tube of toothpaste size.

This may sound gross (and it is) but I developed a crotch itch that started because I was taking a lot of Niacin (B vitamin). At first I didn't know why this was happening but then the itch became more generalized - like all over my body. But I thought about what we did with our daughter when she developed a diaper rash - A & D Ointment. So I bought some online. It works pretty well. I've cut way back on the Niacin but I noticed that it worked well on a dry parch of skin on my ankle. And then I started applying it to my varicose veins in my legs. It relieves the itch w/o the drowsiness you get with Benadryl. It's a little on the greasy side but that's far better than itching. I wish I'd have thought about this sooner - especially for my varicose veins.

I was recommended this product years ago from a friend because I get these super painful splits in the skin of my thumbs near the nail edge in winter when my hands get dry. It is the only product that can fix this issue; I didn't even know it was for diaper rash until just now. If your hands are really bad, rub on like lotion, and put your hands in those cheap nitrile gloves overnight. Done in one night. This stuff is unbelievable.
