Low cost motherboard for AMD Ryzen CPU
Wifey’s PC had a total burnout the multi socket power lead was smoking and blackened, first I binned that. After several recovery solutions I relented and decided on a complete rebuild salvaging the GPU, SSD and hard drive - but I only wanted to spend less than £200. The A320 board paired with a Ryzen 3 1200 was less than £100. All well and good - the A320 is not really an overclocking beast but is small and will support the latest AMD cpus. It needs a dedicated GPU, the existing one is double width so will cover at least one SATA port. The original OS was Windows 7 - horror it does not boot with new tech there is no USB support for keyboard or mouse - luckily the A320 still has a legacy serial port (round socket) for a keyboard - working fine but had to shell out for Windows 10, still smarting over that. A well engineered board at a easy on the wallet price.

Amazing board for its price
This board is too good for its price. In fact it was so good that AMD had to turn off some of its features to keep more expensive boards "better" option. Maybe you dont get room for OC but you can run any am4 CPU up to 96 watt tdp i personally run 2600x without any frequency issues. If you stay on f40 bios you even get pcie 4 on your 16x lane and its STABLE! On same F40 bios this board supports ryzen 3600 and runs better than X series boards!! Because of its voltage and a320m controller is closer to cpu reason being smaller MB physical size.Oh and you can run DDR4 3600mhz cl15!And you can also OC ram with stability.

Cheap but reliable
Great matx motherboard, comes with support for 1st and 2nd gen ryzen cpus out if the box. Very cheap board at £45-ish but has a slew of features like a M.2 nvme slot, usb3.1 and other modern add-ons. The only things it lacks are 4 DIMM slots (it only comes with 2), no overclocking features at all, and no usb-c, but if you can live without those this board is amazing value. Unknown if ryzen gen 3 would be supported, but if you need a cheap board for gen 1 or 2, this is the oneUpdate: changed 5 star to 4 star review. There is a flaw in the layout of the motherboard. There are 4 sata3 ports on there, but they are situated just under the pci-e 16x slot, meaning a graphics card install there would block at least 1 sata port. I have a GTX1050 ti installed and one of the ports is obscured. An Amd RX590 triple slot gfx card would prevent the use of three sata ports because of itms length and girth. Usually not a problem on other boards as the ports point outside to the back of the motherboard, but here they are facing up so you need to plug them in from the top. Terrible design here

Good Budget Board
I bought this (Gigabyte A320M-S2H) for a budget build for a colleague's son. I used it with a Ryzen 5 1600, an EVGA GTX 1060 SC (single fan) and 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200MHz RAM.There are some limitations, but that's what you can expect at this price level. For example, only one system fan header and one CPU fan header. With three system fans, I had to use an adapter to give me more fan connectors. Also, the SATA ports are arranged in a way that long graphics cards could obscure some of them, but not a problem for me as I was using a short one. So this board is designed for builders on a budget and should suit the target market.Getting the memory to run at its advertised speed was easy. I just enabled XMP profile in BIOS. Incidentally, the BIOS version out the box was F50, so I didn't have to bother updating that for the aforementioned XMP.So there you have it; five stars, because it hits the spot with the target market. Still quite amazing that at this price you get an PCIe M.2 connector and support for fastish memory.

Functioning well
This board has all the necessary connections and takes the Corsair 16Gb matched and the Ryzen CPU very effectively for high performance A little more documentation to check panel would be good making it less scary but after checking previous board pin layout and at least this one has very clear markings and I could plug USB 3 cable and that leaves spare USB for front facility for camera Flash USB and SD card if only my case had more rive bays or if I could get a Drive Rack from Dexion but it does leave much space for placing fans and drives and locking down cables to prevent damage. Very good board and software drivers provided automated setup again. The dream is it all just ran up by itself in a short time and integrated with the CPU and then I added Graphics card enhancer software and Black Widow control software drivers. Wonderful screen speed when opening like a rasp file cutting through the procedures. Thank you. Great hardware. Integrates well with saved units.

Great board for up to 3rd gen ryzen 3/5
One thing AMD did right was make it so every revision of Ryzen was co.pativle with the AM4 boards. This board despite its age remains fully compatible with Ryzen up to 2019 though its likely unwise to drop a higher end ryzen 7/9 in as the power draw will likely be too high at its max boost speeds, limiting its capability somewhat. For the rest though it works great, has NVME compatibility which is a plus, comes (at the writing of this review) with the F40 BIOS when bought new making it compatible with Ryzen 1-3 gens, please note the later revisions will stop the Ryzen APUs from working

Decent board but not for overclockers
Nice size micro atx board came with latest bios f23. Even tho i using a Ryzen 5 1500x. But hey it saves me updating itThe bios is very super basic not for pc nerds or over clockers as the only setting you can change is xmp profile for ram everything is locked down. Which I don’t care as all I changed was xmp profile and graphic card to gen 3 speed decent buy well worth the price if you just want plug and play motherboardPs come with a nvm2 slot for super fast ssd bonus
