The Powerless & Reckless Collection (Boxed Set): Powerless; Reckless (The Powerless Trilogy)

I got The Powerless & Reckless Collection (Boxed Set) for my son when he was 13, and these quickly became his favorite books. He absolutely flew through them and was reading every chance he got, which is always a win. What stood out even more was how much he talked about them — during reading and even after finishing, he kept bringing up the story and characters. What I liked: Highly engaging — hard for him to put down Kept him excited about reading Story stuck with him even after finishing Things to consider: If your child loves them, they’ll go through the set quickly Overall, this was a great purchase and a perfect choice for teens who really get into the books they read. Definitely a favorite in our house.

I loved the characters, the banter, the plot. I enjoyed the novellas as well. I love the interlacing of the story from the first book to the third book. Great clean series!

THIS IS THE BEST BOOK SERIES IVE EVER READ I CRIED SO MUCH AND IM IN LOVE WITH KAI AZER HES SO FINE AN IMA MARRY HIM EVEN THOUGH HES NOT REAL. It’s a very good book keep you interested in reading it.But it have some strong language that may be offensive.Its a better book for older mature readers.

I enjoyed this whole series and very much recommend it, especially if you like romance and intrigue. Powerless and Fearless were my favorites in the series. (1st and 3rd book). I gave them 5 stars. Reckless book 2 I gave 4 stars.

Book One - Powerless How do I put this world that has been brought to life into words? Lauren Roberts has managed to ensnare me right from page one (and I do mean that literally because I was both laughing and trying to shush myself at the actions of our FMC). It's hard not to give away what goes on in these books when trying to put up a review, and I will seriously admit that I WANT to tell you, because I want you to read this. I had been putting it off, because of all the mixed reviews, and finally told myself "I will not let others color my opinion, I will read it myself!" and picked it up literally this morning. Here it is, just after 9pm at night now and I'm done with book one, ready to move on to book two and can't even BEGIN to describe the ride this story took me on today! In a series of events that leads to our two main characters finding themselves so deeply ingrained in each other's lives (and not just due to the trials they are bound to be put through). I felt every emotion under the rainbow in reading it, and this, my friends, isn't always easy to do especially when there is legitimately zero spice in this book. There was hand holding. Dancing. And even a kiss or two. But the fact that I was so engrossed in a book of this nature *without* the addition of spice is... new for me. 10 out of 10. Read it. You will regret NOT doing so. Book Two - Reckless No no no! Another book to trick me into thinking that it is all done after this and it is another cliff hanger! My heart can't take it! I now have to wait until later this year to find out just what's coming after such a crazy twist at the end of the book and I'm left stuttering and screeching out loud enough that my kids (and my husband) have all looked at me like I'm crazy. Ok, personal notes aside! This was another amazing piece to the tale that has captured my attention, and my heart, from the very beginning. Admittedly this part of it was far more disheartening at times, because of the betrayals that left me reeling in book one have had me wanting to burst with the knowledge that none of our main characters really, truly know the depths of every angle pushed into play. How much they were led astray by one specific person. I am fighting against spoilers, because I like to make a person see for themselves, but I have to say that there's a love that is so fought against, so pushed back and yet so *very there* that it can literally take your breath away. "Let's save the regret for the morning." is going to forever be a favorite quote of mine. Lauren Roberts, you've left me spellbound and I need more!
