decent build quality I like the temp control
It's alright for that price, decent build qualityI like the temp control, BUT when you remove the kettle from its base it will lose the last setting and always come back to boiling. there is no setting memory.In that case having 5 or 6 temp presets would actually make it easier to use than lowering the temp for each usage

Perfect
I am an addicted coffee lover i think. Every day i drink a lot of coffee and i made my coffees in a decent way. SO I need the right temperature and the precise pour-over.I Bought one of Bestaid Electric kettles and was very pleasant to find it with temperature preset function. I set up the right temperature at the beginning before the water is being boiled, that saves me a lot of time.Other good point for this kettle is that the gooseneck design really made its job in a perfect way. Pouring can be so well-controlled, slow and precise without spilling around.I am really thankful for this electric gooseneck kettle from bestaid as it really enhanced my coffee life!

Pour over coffe and tea for days
Fantastic for making pour over coffee and tea. You can set the temp to anything you want and continues to tell the temp as it cools when connected to the base. It shows where 1L of water “max fill” line but I haven’t had any problems heating up close to 1.2L at a time of filled a little above the line. Minimal calcium build up after a few months, easily cleaned with a 50/50 vinegar-water solution. Dropped a few times and still no significant damage or signs of wear. I’d highly recommend!

Its an electric kettle and it works
Good price, works well. I use this for all sorts of things I never even thought I would, I basically never boil a pot of water anymore unless I'm making pasta. If you make a lot of coffee (this is excellent for pour overs) or tea then you won't regret this purchase

great for the price
it is fast boiling and easy to use the missing star is that it will not keep the memory each time you take of the base so you need to set it again as you are making your coffee.

Heats water really fast. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the thermometer seems to read hotter than the water actually is according to my thermopen.

Works fast and easy. Just remember if you set it at 200 F then you can expect it to over shoot couple degrees to 204F before falling back down to 200F, this is normal.
