This took a few tries to understand the directions, but once it was up it has proven to be sturdy and versatile. I now have to clean my pool less because this helps reduce algae by increased water flow. I also have wonderful water sounds, and cooler water temperatures in the hottest months. It rotates down so the pool cover can go on over it.

The fountain is ok, it does work. The assembly instructions are a joke, just some drawings with no explanation, so some people might struggle with assembly. It comes with several gaskets, you have to just kinda figure out where they go. I don’t like that you can’t really get the pieces tight enough to stay in position with high water pressure. If you do get the pieces tight enough, you can’t adjust the pressure. I guess as cheap as it is I shouldn’t expect to much. It works, but you get what you pay for… cheap.**EDIT**After using this for a week, I bumped my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars. The instructions are still terrible and it can be difficult to adjust, but once we found a spot we liked it, we just leave it alone and we are really enjoying what it adds to our pool.

A lot of reviews say that the fountain doesn't fit their setup, I have an inground pool which usually uses 1.5" male threaded PVC pipe inlet jets - for some reason mine had 4.5 cm (1.77 inch) threads, so I had to remove the adapter they put on.This fountain did fit my 1.5" male threaded PVC jet inlet, it works pretty well, but the stream only reaches halfway across my 16 foot width - not too bad, it would be perfect for an above ground pool that's not too large. The streams cross for some reason and you can't adjust that. I gave each one a different angle so it looks better. It gives you a nice sound feature without having to spend $1000 on a spillway that has a noisy submersible water pump.The other type of fountain on Amazon that only has one outlet has double the pressure, so it would reach well across and further than a 16 foot width. I think I'll try the LED one that has a single outlet, but also keep this one.

Love it because it helps drown out traffic noise

The media could not be loaded. After searching forever for a fountain that would attach to my existing water inlet on my Coleman above ground pool, I finally came across this one. Installation took 10 minutes. Really just screwing the pieces together. It works very well with my pump/filter, which is a sand filter with a stronger pump than what came with the pool. Not sure what kind of height it would have put out with the original pump, but with my new one, it's great. Seems very sturdy, although I did have to secure it with some paracord because the soft sides of the pool let it sag too much. Easy fix.

Does not fit my above ground ‘funsicle’ 14ft pool. I’ve tried a few different fittings and it does not fit anything. When I tested it the water sprayed out of areas where it shouldn’t leading to a cheapPiece of plastic that doesn’t even work.

The media could not be loaded. The fountain works as advertised. The instructions doesn’t include anything about the rubber washers. Not sure why they don’t have it in there… Luckily I looked at pictures here on Amazon in the description and found where they go. I don’t like how it’s a little easy to move around even when it’s tight. I will teach my kids not to tamper with it so it doesn’t tear the liner in the pool***Update***This thing broke on me in less than a month. I tried to open the flow to make it not spray so far in the air before the kids got in. It had locked into the close position and I had to remove it to try and pry it open to control the flow. Then it snapped… Cheaply made. The valve to open and close the pressure is not well made by far
