Mike's new knife
I carry a knife every day, but occasionally I need more than just a knife, this gives me the additional tools to complete most tasks that require more. Looks like it is well built, sharp, as easy to carry as any of my other knives I think this will be a 'go to first' from now on.

Great EDC.
This has become my new EDC. The pliers work great and the knife has stayed sharp for quite a while. The belt clip keeps it nicely in place in the inside pocket configuration.

Essentials over bulk
I bought this knife for a friend but had some time with it first. REASON FOR BUYING I feel multi-tools have a problem where the more they do, the less you'll actually carry it, and feel this multitool is a fair fix for that problem. SIMILAR PRODUCTS I'VE WORKED WITH In comparison I also own a Leatherman exo-skeleton multi-tool which is similar product. The exoskeleton is similar in size, also has fewer rarely or never used functions (compared to other Leatherman products), is compact and lighter in weight, has a bit system, and an outward facing locking blade. OVERALL I prefer the down to basics design of the SOG: better plyers, an OK outward facing knife, better bit system, bottle opener. DETAILS OF SOG REVIEW 95% of the time I pull a knife out its to use the knife, not any other tool, and I feel this is the SOG's only weakness. I personally would have preferred the assisted knife to be less stiff, and honestly not assisted at all. To be fair I only had a short time with the knife, but I would much rather have a dependable manual opening knife (1 handed) than a so-so assisted knife that I can't trust will open and could cut me trying to get past its detent. The players are surprisingly strong, and a pretty cool feature. The tips are superior to the Leatherman Exoskeleton I own as actually having a good tip, along with the solid grip the compounding mechanism provides. The bit driver. This was actually the key to why I bought it for my friend. I saw a review that showed that other 4mm bits would fit in the driver and bought a $20 combat set to compliment this knife. There's a small plastic space for a single bit to be carried, and I liked how well the driver holds the bit, and that it's centered. This expands the tools usefulness to me by a considerable amount, but also means I have to invest another 20 bucks to get its full effect. In comparison the exoskeleton has a single bit that's more rectangular and it's driver is located on 1 arm of the plyer handles rather than centered. Maybe Leatherman sells different bits, but I dislike being forced into buying their add ons when 4mm is so universal. I gave the knife 4 stars, but would give 5 if the knife weren't so stiff out of the box. I'd also recommend it (or atleast explain what I feel it's strengths and weaknesses are) to others.

Very sleek multitool
I recently had the opportunity to buy and test out the SOG Flash MT, it is a sleek and futuristic multitool and I must say, it's quite an impressive piece of equipment. While it may not boast an extensive array of tools like some other multitools on the market, the limited selection of 7 tools is incredibly functional and useful. One standout feature of the knife is the assisted open clip point blade. The knife is not only sharp and durable, but the assisted open mechanism adds a touch of convenience and ease when accessing it. What's particularly noteworthy is that the knife doesn't accidentally open when the pliers are in use, a flaw that has been mentioned by other users in different models. This ensures safety during handling and prevents any unwanted accidents. Another aspect that caught my attention is the overall design and weight of the multitool. Its sleek and futuristic appearance sets it apart from the crowd, making it visually appealing and modern. Additionally, its lightweight nature adds to its practicality, as it can easily be carried in a pocket or backpack without weighing you down. Furthermore, the operation of this multitool is exceptionally smooth and user-friendly. The pliers can be accessed and folded out effortlessly, making it a breeze to switch between functionalities when needed. Despite having a limited number of tools, this multitool excels in functionality and performance. Each tool serves its purpose well, and the quality of the materials used is commendable. While it may not have every tool you might need in every situation, the selected tools are versatile enough to handle most common tasks. In conclusion, the sleek and futuristic design, along with the functional and useful tools, make this multitool a worthwhile investment. If you're in the market for a multitool that combines style with functionality, this multitool is definitely worth considering

Horrible Design...
I had really high hopes for this multitool after all it has a decent pair of needle nose pliers, with wire cutters and adequate sized blade and a couple other tools. It is nice and small but so not overly bulky in the pocket. That is where the good news ends as you can tell this was designed by someone that had no concept of what they were doing. First lets talk about the fact that the blade is assisted opening. Who in their right mind puts an assisted opening blade on a multitool like this, especially one this small. And that is if you can even get it to work with the lock half the time. On some it is so tight you have to pry it out with a screw driver and on others it is so loose that it practically pops out on its own. The screw driver bit holder is a joke. Plastic that when ever you put the least about of force on just looses grip on the bit. The bit storage holder is terrible as well. You have to bend the plastic to even get it out. Long story short DO NOT BUY this item.

Don't buy it. Thumb stud for the blade is so close it will end up cutting you. Bit holders is ridiculous. Safety is so stiff you need a glove to press it without breaking skin. Assist on the blade is also so stiff you can't open it without two hands. Even then it's ridiculous. The lock for said blade once open is also so stiff it engages maybe 1/10 times. Overall... this is dangerous to even use and will end up slicing your fingers. Maybe with some heavy breaking in... But that's not the piont with the price.
