Wow! a must buy
I am a flashlight freak and own too many to count. This little guy has to be one of the best little lights I have ever purchased. I am super impressed with this light given the price point. This makes a perfect early morning entry to the tree stand with the red end cap. Very happy with the purchase. It does get hot so might as well use it as a hand warmer as well.

Serious design problem with the end cap
I really wanted to like this light but it has a fatal flaw. The engineering of the complex tail cap wasn't tested properly, the first light I got the on/off switch worked for a few minutes and then stopped working as it got jammed. I figured it was a manufacturing defect and called Amazon and got another one. Same problem. The reviewer before me couldn't get it to work at all so his likely had the same problem. The tail switch has a distinct crunchy feeling. The tail switch incorporates a strong magnet which is handy for holding the light onto a steel object, but the tail switch also incorporates a rotating lock function that is the heart of the problem. Firstly it's very difficult to see exactly where the tail cap should be turned so that the light is unlocked. Turning the tail cap switch is quite difficult, requires the use of a fingernail placed in a small indentation. The indicators showing locked and unlocked positions are almost invisible complicating the usage. The manual also is very sketchy about how to use this function. Anyway after a little bit more experimentation it turns out that when the switch is in the correct unlocked position and you press the button several times it moves out of position, unbeknownst to the user, and either locks itself off or locks itself on, and is quite difficult to get it out of that abnormal function. Anyway with my two lights being defective and the previous reviewers light being defective it looks to me like this is a engineering problem rather than a manufacturing problem and I agree I do not recommend this light. The whole problem is kind of silly anyway. Certainly people don't want their lights turning on accidentally in their luggage or whatever, however nearly all flashlights that have a tail cap can have the on/off switch locked out by simply unscrewing the tail cap a quarter turn or so. The designers of this light were addressing a non-problem and as a result caused a significant problem with the flashlight itself. Not smart.

Nice little light. On highest it will get REAL bright. USB-C is a great feature!
I got this light because I needed something small enough to carry, but also have a lock to keep the light from turning on in your pocket. A warning though, well, a couple. The lock can sometimes get stuck and not want to lock or unlock. Nothing major, but don't use this flashlight if you need it quickly. But, if you just need it for normal use, it does work well. The USB-C charging is actually true USB-C PD. You can use the charger from your phone, or any other USB-C type charger from what I have tried, meaning you don't have to just have 5V 2A power adapter. On its highest setting it is BRIGHT. I mean it lights up a wide area. The beam is wide, but not so wide it isn't useful. But, it also gets really HOT on that setting, so don't keep it on too long or it will just get too hot to hold. However, the lower 3 work very well and will not get that hot. I haven't been able to determine yet, but it seems like it changes intensity on each cycle of the power button, it doesn't "remember" it's previous setting and will go to the next setting, which is problematic. However, it might be that I just didn't wait long enough between power cycles. Other than those two little issues, it works very well. A little longer would be nice as well, it is very compact.

Great pocket/Inspection Light
Small, sturdy, and bright.Fits great in my belt pouch, and is extremely hand to have. One max brightness, the lamp end does get noticeably warm.My only gripe is that the on/off button on the end has a locking feature that I frequently and accidentally engage while the light is on. You then have to fiddle with it to unlock it.
