Great Product. I knew I wanted this product. It arrived promptly after I ordered it.

This paste is has a strong hold and can texture my hair and bring out my natural curls. The paste has a really thick texture so a small amount goes a long way. It's worth it for the price!

Good for my hair sets it in nice.

I was told about this product from my hairdressers as she uses it , it’s so good it will hold your hair in place for hours , you only need a small dab the side of a small finger nail on your hand and it gos a long way ,

In the years IV been struggling to find a product IV been happy with, I have thick hair, this stuff works amazing holds all day unlike other brands I've tried, its not a hard paste, I guess it's more in-between a hard paste and a cream, in the past I've always used cheap brands like Vo5 and id have to also buy pre style and hair spray just to get it to hold longer, however with this u don't need a pre style or hairspray for it to hold all day, I do still use mousse to pre style but thats just because it's easier because my hairs so thick, u honestly don't need alot I'd say test the amounts, I decreased the amount cos I did find it made my hair a little tacky but after decreasing the amount it's perfect. It also washes out well with just water and for the price it's in-between cheap and the more expensive brands so it's worth the price for what it does and for how happy I am that I finely found a product that works for my hair

Looking for Goldwell Roughman 4 Matte Paste?? Well, it has been replaced by this new white tube called Roughman Texturising paste. Unfortunately, the change is not simply cosmetic. If you look at the ingredients you’ll see that the product itself has changed considerably… and not for the better. Goldwell claim the hold has improved but that is not the case. This new product is watery and sticky. Where the old product helped create volume and hold your hair as desired, this new one makes your hair look greasy and offers little control. Do not be fooled by all the positive reviews as these are for the old product (Roughman 4). After using this for a decade, I’m now on the hunt for a new Matte paste as this product is now terrible.

I've been using this hair product for three years now, and I still haven't found anything better. My hairdresser was the first to show it to me, and he's been using it even longer than I have. I even remember the grey/silver container from a few years ago, and I didn't find there to be any difference in quality when they switched to the new (current) design. This product is great because it keeps my hair in place all day with a natural look. I keep my hair 4-5 inches long on the top and this stuff keeps it right where I style it in the morning. Anyway, great product, I don't think I'll find another quality product like this one, and especially not one that lasts me 6 weeks for this great a price.
