Right out of the box to hanging the TV on the wall required less than an hour. I have installed two of these types of wall mounts prior to this one. This unit is rated to 80 pounds. I pulled down on it at full extension after the install. I weigh 190 (not too skinny, not too fat, just right). Once you have the lag bolts screwed into the wall studs, it is not going anywhere. My 65" TV weighs approx. 45 pounds. The range of motion is as advertised and I can always find a comfortable viewing angle in my room. Once I got the mount attached to the wall and the bracket on the TV I was anxious to try it out. No one was around to help. I didn't have a sheep to sacrifice before I tried to pick it up and hang it on the mount. But, the design is clean and simple. Just lift it high enough to clear the horizontal frame and let it drop down and hook to the frame. There is a safety bolt that holds a clamp. This is to keep the TV mounted on the wall and not on the floor (oops) One person can do this but two would be better. I wanted to locate the TV in the center of the wall. There were no studs that would work to accomplish this. I cut a piece of cherry hardwood and lag bolted it to the wall. The TV mount is bolted to the cherry. It is not going anywhere. All the screws, bolts, nuts, washers are packaged neatly in a clear plastic envelope. There is a mounting template provided. This allows you to figure out where studs might be found for your favorite location. Use a rare earth solid magnet to locate drywall nails/screws in the studs. Recommend drilling pilot holes for the lag bolts to avoid splitting the wood stud. Also, it makes installing the bolts a lot easier. I misplaced the instruction sheet. Note to self, don't panic. The mount can be found on the internet. Later, I found the instructions under the box (be kind). This is good mount that works as advertised. Keep the instructions on the box - not under it.

What an awesome tv mount this is. I love how sturdy and maneuverable it is. Very easy to set up. Just find the studs in your wall and use the template. The bolts are very strong and definitely hold up the tvs weight. I bought a Samsung 75” and it fits perfect. It’s nice that you can adjust it and tilt it to make it level. I did have to add a little WD40 to be able to loosen up the extension bracket. Overall I would recommend this tv mount for anyone that needs to be able to adjust or pull it away from the wall.

Fantastic wall mount for the price. The build quality feels solid and secure, and once the TV is mounted, it feels very stable and safe. I really like that it includes a built-in level, which made installation much easier and helped get everything lined up correctly the first time. The overall adjustability is good, though I do think the tilt and angle range could be a little greater. That said, it still offers enough movement to dial in a comfortable viewing angle for most setups. For the cost, this mount does exactly what it should. It’s strong, reliable, and holds my TV with no issues. A little more adjustment range would make it perfect, but it’s still a great value and I’d recommend it.

Very easy to install on the wall and works great with my 65" TV. All needed hardware is included and very high quality and it was great value for the money.

Good instructions, had a board to show where screw. Very easy to put up. Has been up for quite some time now and it's been very sturdy. Only thing you need is a stud finder to make sure you put it up correctly

I googled this mount and the info said it would work with my Sony 46” smart TV. It does not quite fit. The TV mounting holes are just a bit too narrow! Make sure you have a minimum of 5” between your TV’s mounting holes horizontally. Otherwise, it’s a nice looking mount for the money. Functions great (with a spritz of WD-40 at the hinge points) and relatively easy to install. The instructions could more clearly explain which screws belong where. The fit issue was a quick fix with some 1.5” x 14” quarter inch thick aluminum strapping I had laying around. [note: use countersink machine screws for sufficient clearance.] 2 new holes each for the mounting plate and the hook brackets. Easy peasy. (See picture)
