Protective but not too bulky which is perfect.You with either like or hate the cheaper protective lens and may prefer to take it our and use a standard tempered glass protector on it as I find the plastic screen protector in the case affects the touch sensitivity. You certainly cannot use the case screen protector and a tempered glass protector at the same time.It's a great case but as with all Otterbox products, carries a price premium but it is still cheap compared to the tablet!This version ships in non retail packaging which is better for the environment

Another great case from Otterbox. This thing protects your tablet so well, I feel as if I dropped it. height it would still protect it. It's thick so it does add to the thickness of the Galaxy tablet which is thin anyway. It was a snug fit but all the buttons and holes lined up fine. It's so rugged that it's perfect for a child to have. If they drop it then you will be okay. Easy to clean and lightweight.
