Exact fitment for my Uniden R3. It's plug and play, the connector fits. Be careful when you unplug the original speaker, it's pretty difficult to take out and risk breaking the connection end. It does seem a little quieter than the original speaker, other than that it sounds clear and good.

Worked in my r8 sounds slightly just a tad bit less louder but cleaner not so maxed out on like high end screech harshness My old speaker was broken and would work sometimes saying KA and other times nothing but a little ring this was the fix to saving $800 on a new one only 4 screws I unscrewed with the tip of a knife blade

This was a DIRECT REPLACEMENT for the faulty speaker in my Uniden R1. It was easy to swap out and works fine. I tested it- it beeps properly. There was nothing to solder. It comes with the exact wire termination (end clip) that fits perfectly onto the R1 circuit board. One caveat: when installing the speaker, gently remove the white paper adhesive cover. I roughly pulled on it and the entire adhesive ring detached from the fragile cloth speaker cover. My bad... Again, this was a simple repair and an exact fit for my Uniden R1.

fit my R7 back working like it should. Wire Connector was not the same, just soldered it at the speaker and used old wire and connector.

The speaker is a known issue with Uniden R3's at least and have been using external speaker. Once that went out, I decided to simply replace the internal speaker which I should've just done. You only need to take off the four Phillips screws on the back, pull it open, undo the two screws holding the speaker that also has an adhesive so you simply pry it out, detach, and install the new one. The speaker has the adhesive, so make sure to position it correctly but otherwise, it was a very easy fix. The connector pops off from the old but you may need a small flat screwdriver to remove it. The sound is nice and loud and hopefully, it'll last for a few years at least...

Uniden R1 replacement. My alarm quit for no reason. Some research said that the speaker was a common issue. Ordered, disasemebled, replaced and working properly now. Very inexpensive replacement to fix a common problem. But I will tell you to be gentle and do not force the detector apart due to possiblity of damaging something. Price for this speaker is way better than buying a whole new detector. Very Happy now.

Used it to fix my uniden r7 had the radar 3 years now and the speaker started going out and I wasn't going to spend another $600 for another radar because the speaker stopped working so I fixed it myself its pretty east just clips in there's a video on YouTube on how to do the installation

Fits perfectly in a Uniden R3 radar detector and plugs right in. The original is the same 16 Ω ohm and .5 watts as this.
