Just as advertised
I ordered this because the adapter for my son's Sony DVP-FX970 broke. I plugged in, and voilla, it works, exactly as it says it would. The voltage is 9V, and amps is 2.2a, which is different from the original FX-160 adapter (9.5v, 1.2a), but the voltage is close enough and the amperage higher than original so the device likes it just fine.It also arrived very quickly, so I'm happy about that!

worked like a charm
I plugged this into my grandson's dvd player....worked great no problems......would definitely not pay the 85.00 that Sony wanted. Don't hesitate to buy it.
